Hero is a Minecraft cape for Java and Bedrock Edition tied to the launch of Minecraft Dungeons II. How do you get it? Play the original Minecraft Dungeons with your Microsoft account, then log into Minecraft Dungeons II with the same account before 31 December 2026. After that, sign into Java or Bedrock Edition once and the cape is in your wardrobe.
Playing only Dungeons II is not enough, the first game has to be on the account too. That makes it a reward for people who were there for the first Dungeons rather than a pre-order bonus. Details are in the official post on minecraft.net.
Capes earned this way are bound to the Microsoft account, so they show up in both editions. Other Dungeons II capes only exist inside that game and are not part of this archive.
