About Arcane
Arcane is an animated series created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee and set in the League of Legends universe of Riot Games. It was animated by the French studio Fortiche under Riot's supervision and released on Netflix. Season 1 premiered in three acts on 6, 13 and 20 November 2021. Season 2, the final season, followed in three acts on 9, 16 and 23 November 2024, for a total of 18 episodes.
The series follows the sisters Vi and Powder, who later becomes Jinx. They are caught in the conflict between the wealthy city of Piltover and the oppressed undercity of Zaun, a conflict driven by clashing beliefs and the rise of arcane technology.
Arcane won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program and swept the 2022 Annie Awards with nine wins, as listed on Wikipedia.
