About Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced is a remake of the 2013 pirate adventure Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, developed under the lead of Ubisoft Singapore and published by Ubisoft. It was released on 9 July 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, and is also available via Ubisoft+, GeForce Now and Blacknut.
You play Edward Kenway, who rises from privateer to Assassin in the Caribbean while fighting the Templars, and you sail the seas as captain of the Jackdaw. The remake is built on the latest version of the Anvil engine used in Assassin's Creed Shadows and adds ray-traced lighting, dynamic weather and reworked water.
According to Ubisoft, combat now uses a parry-driven system, stealth gains crouching anywhere and an observe mode, and naval battles get new secondary weapons and recruitable officers. Matt Ryan returns as Edward in additional story missions.
