About Brawlhalla
Brawlhalla is a free-to-play platform fighting game developed by Blue Mammoth Games, which Ubisoft acquired in 2018 and has published the game since. It was released on 17 October 2017 for Windows, macOS and PlayStation 4, followed by Nintendo Switch and Xbox One in November 2018 and Android and iOS in August 2020. Cross-play between all platforms has been available since October 2019.
Like other platform fighters, the goal is to knock opponents off the stage. A rotating selection of characters is free to play, and the roster includes many guest fighters from other franchises, among them Rayman, Ezio from Assassin's Creed and characters from Adventure Time, Street Fighter and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The game reached 80 million players by April 2022. Its annual Brawlhalla World Championship has been held since 2017, mostly in Atlanta, as Wikipedia documents.
