BUBSY 4D

Bubsy 4D is a 3D platformer developed by the New York studio Fabraz, known for Demon Turf, and published by Atari. It was released on 22 May 2026 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and it is the first 3D Bubsy game in almost 30 years (Wikipedia).

The alien Woolies are back: they abduct Earth's sheep, turn them into robotic BaaBots and steal the Golden Fleece. Bubsy jumps and glides across three planets with five levels each, can roll into a fast Hairball Mode, collects yarn for outfits and finds blueprints that unlock upgrades. Time trials come with online leaderboards and ghost races. The digital version launched at 19.99 dollars, with a physical collector's edition for Switch (Gematsu).

Critics gave mixed reviews, praising the momentum based movement and charm but criticising the short length. A free update on 12 August 2026 added 15 new levels.
