About CONTROL Resonant
CONTROL Resonant is the sequel to Control, developed and published by Remedy Entertainment and co-financed by Annapurna (Stevivor). The digital version launched on 24 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, while the boxed edition was moved to 15 October 2026 (TheXboxHub).
The playable lead is Dylan Faden, Jesse Faden's brother and a former test subject of the Federal Bureau of Control. After Jesse disappears, he is sent into a warped Manhattan where a new kind of resonance is reshaping the city, alongside returning threats like the Hiss and the Mold.
Unlike the third-person shooter original, Resonant is built as an action RPG with more exploration and role-playing systems. Combat centres on melee with a shapeshifting weapon called the Aberrant.
