About RESIDENT EVIL: requiem
Resident Evil Requiem is a survival horror game developed and published by Capcom and directed by Koshi Nakanishi. It was released on 27 February 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Windows and Nintendo Switch 2 (Wikipedia).
The story is set 28 years after the destruction of Raccoon City. FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft investigates mysterious deaths among survivors of the disaster and is joined by DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy. Grace's chapters focus on horror and default to a first person view, while Leon's chapters lean towards action in third person; you can switch the camera for both.
Critics gave the game universal acclaim. It sold five million copies in five days and eight million by July 2026, making it the fastest selling game in the series.
