Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy

Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is an action adventure game developed by Asobo Studio and published by Focus Entertainment. It is the third game in the A Plague Tale series and was released on 27 August 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, including Xbox Game Pass at launch (announcement, Wikipedia).

The game is a prequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence, set in 1334. You play Sophia, a smuggler and skilled fighter who can parry attacks and perform finishing moves, which makes it more action focused than the stealth driven earlier games. Her visions lead her to Crete, where the story moves between the Middle Ages and the Minoan period and reveals the origins of the Prima Macula curse.

Reviews were generally favourable, with Metacritic scores between 78 and 85 depending on the platform.
