About Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6 is a fighting game developed and published by Capcom, directed by Takayuki Nakayama and built on the RE Engine. It was released worldwide on 2 June 2023 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows. A Nintendo Switch 2 version followed on 5 June 2025 (Wikipedia).
The game is split into three modes: Fighting Ground with classic versus, arcade and training, World Tour, a single-player story in which your own avatar explores Metro City and learns from the roster's fighters, and Battle Hub, an online lobby where players meet and challenge each other. Besides the traditional six-button Classic controls, a simpler Modern scheme assigns special moves to a single button plus a direction.
Street Fighter 6 sold over one million units within five days and reached 7 million as of June 2026.
