Treasure Adventure World

Treasure Adventure World is a 2D puzzle platformer with Metroidvania-style exploration by Robit Games, released commercially with Chucklefish for PC on Steam and GOG in February 2018. It is a remake of the freeware game Treasure Adventure Game from 2011, which Stephen Orlando had made largely on his own (Cliqist).

You play a boy who lost his right hand in a mysterious accident and now uses a hook. He explores 16 islands in search of treasure and clues about his past. The hook works as a weapon, a grappling tool and later a boomerang, and collectible hats add new abilities. A weather system plays a role in some puzzles, and the adventure runs to about 18 hours. A Windows version is also offered via itch.io.
