Tyranny

Tyranny is a single-player role-playing game with an isometric view, developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Paradox Interactive. It was released on 10 November 2016 for Windows, macOS and Linux (Wikipedia).

The premise turns the usual fantasy story around: the overlord Kyros has already conquered the world. You play a Fatebinder, a high-ranking judge and enforcer in Kyros's service, tasked with restoring order. Your rulings and loyalties decide how the surviving factions are dealt with and how they react to you. The game is not a sequel, but it builds on the engine and gameplay of Obsidian's Pillars of Eternity, running on a modified Unity engine.
