The BadgeBase Arcade is here: Six games built on real Twitch badges

More than 6,000 badges live in the archive by now – and so far you could view, collect and compare them. Starting today you can play with them: the BadgeBase Arcade is officially open, with six mini games that all run on real badges and real data from the archive. Because honestly: why merely own badges when you can actually do something with them? :P

The side effect is the real trick: playing teaches you the archive – release years, collector counts, rarities. After a few rounds of Higher or Lower you develop a surprisingly good sense for which badge is rare and which one everybody has.

🟪 Badgle – the daily puzzle

The centrepiece: Badgle works like Wordle, just with badges. Once a day everyone gets the same target badge, six tries, and after every guess the year, free/paid and collector count tell you whether to go higher or lower. A new puzzle drops at midnight, and you can share your result as the classic emoji grid.

⚖️ Higher or Lower – the guessing game

Two badges, one question: does the right one have more or fewer collectors than the left one? Higher or Lower is the perfect casual game and meaner than it sounds – does the Egg have more collectors than the Mod Founder? Ties count in your favour, by the way.

🧺 Badge Catcher & 🐍 Badge Snake – the arcade classics

In Badge Catcher you catch falling badges before they shatter on the ground, and it speeds up the longer you survive. Badge Snake is exactly what you think: Snake, but the food is badges from the archive. Both with high scores.

🃏 Badge Memory – the brain game

Eight badge pairs, shuffled face down: Badge Memory counts your moves, and the ranking sorts by the fewest – with the time shown next to it as tiebreaker. Whoever leads with eleven moves in 22 seconds has earned it.

📅 Badge Timeline – for connoisseurs

Put five badges from 2026 into the right release order: Badge Timeline is the game for everyone who does not just read the monthly overview but internalises it. Only perfect 5/5 rounds count for the ranking.

🏆 Rankings and the Arcade Top 3 achievement

Every game has a top 10 right under the playfield. Play while logged in with Twitch and you join automatically – and whoever reaches the podium in any game unlocks the new Arcade Top 3 achievement for their profile, linking straight to their podium game. The Arcade is deliberately built as a playground – games can be added, grow or disappear again. That is exactly where you come in: which badge game is missing? What annoys you, what is addictive?
