What is BadgeBase?
BadgeBase.de is a fan-made archive of global Twitch chat badges. We document every badge with its start and end date, show how to earn it, and give collectors profiles, leaderboards and comparisons.
Is BadgeBase an official Twitch site?
No. BadgeBase is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with Twitch Interactive, Inc. All badge artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
How do I get a Twitch badge?
It depends on the badge: some are earned by watching a specific category, others require a subscription, gifted subs, or events like TwitchCon. Every badge page on BadgeBase lists the exact steps and the time window — current opportunities live in the active badge archive — just complete the action while the badge is live.
How much does BadgeBase cost?
Nothing. BadgeBase is completely free. If you want to support the project, you can donate or subscribe to the badgebase_de Twitch channel — subscribers get small perks like streak protection.
What is the difference between free and paid badges?
Free badges cost no money — you earn them by watching, for example. Paid badges require a purchase, usually a subscription, gifted subs, or a TwitchCon ticket. The archive lets you filter by free and paid.
How do I get a profile on BadgeBase?
Just open badgebase.de/u/YOUR-TWITCH-NAME/ — the profile is created automatically on first visit from publicly available Twitch data. It shows your collected badges, your rank and your achievements.
What is Badge Alert?
Our email alert: the moment a new global Twitch badge goes live, you get a short email. Signup is double opt-in only, and every mail contains a one-click unsubscribe.
How do streaks work?
Mark a profile as your favorite ⭐ and visit it every day — each day extends your streak and climbs the streaks board. A new day starts at midnight German time. Subscribers get streak protection: missed days pause the streak instead of ending it.
Can I get badge dates into my calendar?
Yes — our iCal feed puts every badge start and end date straight into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Add your Twitch name and the feed turns personal, showing only badges you are still missing.
What is the BadgeBase Twitch Extension?
A free Twitch extension for streamers: it shows viewers the channel's badge statistics and current badge opportunities right below the stream.
What are achievements?
Small awards on your profile — for streaks, collecting many free badges, a Twitch account older than 5 years, or using the badge calendar, among others. They appear automatically once you meet the condition.
Can I lose badges again?
Almost never — badges are practically always lifetime: once earned, they stay in your collection permanently. The exception, of course, are subscription badges, which disappear once the sub expires. Beyond that, losses are extremely rare: Twitch Staff who leave the company, Ambassadors who exit the program, or members of the mod community who violate its code of conduct.
How do I compare myself with other collectors?
The leaderboard shows your rank among all collectors, and the profile comparison puts two collections side by side — including the badges only one of you owns.
How do I remove my profile from BadgeBase?
Send a short email to marco.verch@gmail.com. We will set an opt-out: your profile is removed from display and no longer indexed.
