Twitch Ambassador is a global Twitch badge you can neither earn by watching nor buy: it marks members of the Twitch Ambassador Program, hand-picked community role models who foster collaboration, drive positive change and represent the brand.
How do you get it? Through an application that is open all year round: the requirements are Twitch Partner status and a minimum age of 18. Twitch explicitly sets no follower or viewer thresholds, what counts is impact within the community. Ambassadors stay in the program permanently unless they leave or violate the guidelines, and enjoy perks such as a direct line to Twitch teams, early access to new features and marketing appearances.
The dedicated chat badge is the most visible privilege of all. That puts it in the same league as other role badges like Staff or Mod Founder, and the rarest badges ranking places it accordingly high.
