August 2026
New Twitch chat command #emotes shows how many Hype Train emotes someone owns โ including their highest level and Hype board rank. Thanks to @jmythex for the backlog idea!
The Discord bot (/claim, /giveaway) and the Twitch chat bot (!xp, !rank, !streak, !missing, !watchtime, !giveaway, !winner) now reply in the language you use on BadgeBase (German, English, Spanish, French, Russian). English stays the fallback.
The giveaway has three new entries: subscribe to your personal badge calendar, lurk 8 hours in the stream, or share feedback & ideas. Each one earns an extra entry.
A new public stats page (linked in the footer) shows what's happening on BadgeBase over the last 30 days โ badge & achievement claims, XP earned, active users, Twitch viewers, Discord links, subs and more.
Achievement notifications (the bell and Discord) now link right to the achievement's own page. And on any achievement page, logged-in users see at a glance whether they've earned it yet.
The Wheel of Fortune now hands out giveaway entries too, not just XP. Land on a ticket segment and your entries are added to the current giveaway automatically โ they show up on the giveaway page and in your feed.
Two fresh entries: type !giveaway in the badgebase_de Twitch chat while the stream is live (1 per round), and use /giveaway once a week in our Discord. Recommending BadgeBase_de as a channel earns an entry too. Everything on the giveaway page.
Every level-up now drops into your notification bell the moment you cross it โ no longer only the round-number milestones, and no more waiting for the hourly refresh to catch it.
Dynamic achievements (e.g. Top 10, VIP, rare badges) now reflect your current standing: if you no longer meet the requirement, the achievement is removed again shortly after. That keeps the rarity numbers honest.
New (beta): the achievement overview ranks every achievement by rarity โ how many users own each one. Every achievement now has its own detail page with how to earn it, its rarity, rank and owners. Clicking an achievement on your profile takes you straight there.
New: the bot page introduces the BadgeBase Discord bot. The commands /list, /badges and /leaderboard now work on any server. Add the bot to your Discord and grab an extra giveaway entry plus the โBot Wranglerโ achievement.
The Turbo giveaway now grants an extra entry when you reach BadgeBase Level 10 โ counted automatically. How to earn XP: see the FAQ.
The Turbo giveaway now has an extra entry for following Wuestenigel on Kick โ verified automatically (with a linked Kick account).
The Extension User achievement now counts activity over the last 30 days instead of 7 โ install the Twitch extension and you keep the achievement even with occasional use. The active-user counter on the extension page uses the same 30-day window now.
Your personal activity feed now shows a lot more: unlocked achievements, chat check-ins, Discord /claim, wheel spins, level-ups โ and the XP earned on every row. Filter by XP, badges and achievements.
The achievement wall just hit 100 tiles. Newest additions: Twitch follower milestones (Fan Club, Rising Star, Superstar), Bits Whale, Perfectionist (all daily quests in one day) and Watch Streak. Ten slots are still Coming Soon โ got an idea for one? Suggest it on our Discord!
The Daily Quests now include Write 5 messages in the badgebase_de chat. Plus a new achievement, Chatter Legend, for reaching 1,000 chat messages.
New awards for joining the badgebase_de chat: Chatter (10 messages), Chatterbox (100 messages) and 100 Hours in Chat. The two old Mystery achievements are now Explorer (viewed 100 profiles) and Reactor (gave 100 reactions).
The Discord page now shows active members with their avatars (subscribers first), plus what the server gets you: daily XP with /claim, an achievement for linking, and news about new badges first.
Manage Badge Alert right in your account settings. No separate signup anymore. Once it's on, you get an email the moment a new badge is found, goes live, or is about to end, in your language. Pick your language anytime in your settings. New here? You'll get a welcome email when you sign in with Twitch.
In the badgebase_de chat, #badges now pops your profile card (name + all your badges) onto the stream overlay โ add a name (#badges someone) to show theirs. And #checkin animates your XP counting up (+100, +110 for Pro).
Linked your Discord? Use /claim in the server's #commands channel for +100 XP a day (110 for Pro) โ same as chat #checkin. New quest in your Quest Log. Not linked yet? Connect here.
New Top Raiders board โ who raids badgebase_de the most. Every raid earns 10 XP per viewer brought (plus the one-time Raider achievement). Reachable from the XP leaderboard and the Raider achievement.
A new Quest Log shows your daily tasks bottom-right on every page (desktop): secure your streak, #checkin in chat, lurk 1h, Burn for XP, and spin the Wheel of Fortune. Finished ones tick off โ and once all five are done it hides until tomorrow. Toggle it in your settings.
Locked achievements now show your progress: a bar fills from left to right and the tile brightens the closer you get โ so you can see you're at 21 / 50 gift subs, not just "locked". Plus a new one: Jackpot! for hitting the 10,000 XP grand prize on the Wheel of Fortune.
The leveling FAQ now lists every way to earn XP in one place โ badges, cheering Bits, chat watchtime, daily #checkin, raids, burning channel points and the daily Wheel of Fortune. Hit the How to Earn button in your profile settings or read it in the FAQ.
The notification bell now surfaces real product updates too โ every new changelog entry shows up there so you never miss what changed. Tap one to read the full note.
New in the arcade: spin the Wheel of Fortune once a day and win XP. Small prizes are common, but the grand prize is a massive 10,000 XP โ rare, but it happens! Incoming raids pay off too now: 10 XP per viewer a raider brings (once a day), on top of the repeatable Raider achievement.
Your BadgeBase level now sits on your profile next to your rank. XP comes from badges, chat watchtime, bits, gifts and more โ the higher your level, the higher your tier. See where you stand on the XP leaderboard.
BadgeBase now tracks how long you lurk in the badgebase_de chat. Every hour in chat earns 10 XP, unlocks the new repeatable Lurker achievement (one hour is enough!), and climbs the new Top Lurkers board. Type !watchtime in chat to check yours. Only logged-in users are tracked.
If your visit streak is still alive but you haven't checked in today, BadgeBase now pings you on Discord in the evening with a link to your profile โ so a long streak doesn't quietly die overnight. Only for streaks worth protecting, and only if your Discord is linked. Keep it going on the streaks page and link up in Discord.
VIP now means the same thing wherever it appears: the top 30 gifters among active subscribers. That is the badge on the subscribers page, the VIP role in Discord, and the VIP achievement on your profile โ before, the achievement used a slightly different list and could go missing for someone who was VIP everywhere else. The subscribers page now also shows a tidy top 30 gifters and the latest 30 subscribers.
The Kick badges we track for a channel are now a public endpoint: /api/kick-badges.php?u=<handle> returns them as JSON with each badge's name and icon. It's CORS-open and needs no key, so you can pull your badges straight into a stream overlay, and the handle works by either Kick name or Twitch login. Browse the ones we track on the Kick leaderboard.
New WuestenBot commands in the badgebase_de chat: !missing lists the currently claimable badges you don't have yet, !rank your badge rank, !streak your visit streak, and !xp (or !level) your level and XP. Add a name to check someone else, e.g. !rank igelchess.
A GeoGuessr for badges: pin each event badge on the world map and see how many kilometres you were off โ TwitchCon cities (Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, San Diego, Las Vegasโฆ) and a few country badges. Lowest total distance wins. Play it in the Arcade. (The old Timeline game has retired.)
BadgeBase Arcade moved to /arcade/ and got two new games: 6 7 (tap 6, then 7, then 6โฆ as the numbers grow and pop) and Speed Challenge (a pure reaction-time test). Your personal best now shows right on each game tile when you're logged in, and finishing any game earns the new Arcade Gamer ๐น๏ธ achievement. More games coming โ suggest one in Discord.
Subscribe or gift a sub on badgebase_de and, if your Discord is linked, you get a shoutout in the badge channel โ a gift pings the recipient too when they're in the server. Link your account in Discord.
New Product Backlog: the ideas that shape BadgeBase, suggested by you and voted up or down just like this changelog. Each idea shows who suggested it and whether it's New, Declined or already Implemented โ with a link straight to the changelog. Got an idea? Drop it in Discord; the best ones land on the board and earn you the new Product Feedback ๐ก achievement.
Type in the badgebase_de Twitch chat and your message pops up as a slick card on the overlay โ your avatar, 7TV paint, your equipped badges, plus your BadgeBase badge count and rank. Cheer Bits or burn Channel Points for XP and you get your own animated ๐/๐ฅ alert. Come say hi on stream!
Type #checkin in the badgebase_de Twitch chat and grab your daily XP right there: 100 XP (110 with Pro ๐). It's its own thing, completely separate from your visit streak. The bot credits it to your profile and shouts you out with a link. Once per day, come back tomorrow for more.
Spot a real bug and tell us, and you earn the Bug Hunter ๐ achievement. First one goes to a viewer who caught a glitch where a brand-new account briefly showed a few achievements it hadn't earned yet. Found something odd? Ping us in Discord โ the next ๐ could be yours.
Haven't shared your badge card yet? Tapping the Card Sharer tile on your profile now opens a preview of your own card in a new tab, so you can see exactly what you'd be sharing. Actually download it once and the Card Sharer achievement is yours.
Your invite link now pays off: every friend you bring in is worth 2,000 XP. To keep it fair a referral only counts once your friend has actually logged in and their Twitch account is older than a month, so throwaway accounts don't game it. See who you brought in, and which ones don't count yet, in your dashboard.
The badgebase_de stream overlay now rotates through four leaderboards live: Top Gifters, Top Collectors, Top Cheerers (Bits) and the most Channel Points burned. Support the community and you show up right there on screen.
We're pulling the comment section on individual badges again for now. The idea was user-generated content in the shape of good questions and helpful answers, but what mostly showed up was comment spam, honestly can't blame anyone for that. ๐ Comments on the blog stay exactly as they were, and we can bring them back to badges any time if there's demand.
Cheering Bits (and Power-ups) on badgebase_de now earns XP โ every 100 bits = 1,000 XP. Climb the brand-new Bits leaderboard, unlock the ๐ Bits Booster badge, and watch it pop up live in chat, on your profile and in your XP overview. More badge slots are already teased for what's next.
The badgebase_de chat now reacts live: follows get a shout-out (and check whether you already own the current featured badge, nudging you if not), and burning channel points on Burn for XP gets called out with a link to the burned leaderboard.
When a Hype Train starts on badgebase_de, our Discord now announces it โ at the start, on every 5th level and whenever a new all-time record falls. Along the way: your profile now shows who sponsored your sub ๐, and the Pro perks got a cleaner order.
New on badgebase_de: redeem Burn for XP (1000 channel points) for +100 XP โ or +110 as a Pro member. It's repeatable, so grind as much as you like, and it unlocks the new ๐ฅ Burn for XP achievement. Redemptions show up in the activity feed and your personal XP overview.
Fresh badges for your profile: Affiliate and Partner (your Twitch status โ Partners get both), 100 Gifts for gifting 100+ subs to badgebase_de, and Raider for raiding the badgebase_de channel.
Type /leaderboard in Discord to pull up the top collectors right in chat โ by badges (default), or add a type for XP, achievements or longest streak. Anyone who linked their Discord shows up with their handle (no ping).
The BadgeBase.de Discord app now shows a rotating status: how many Twitch badges are live right now, the current Pro Members count, plus the freshest, next and newest badge.
The Gifter, Gift Bomber and Sub Tsunami achievements now show how many subs you've gifted, right in the tooltip.
Your Kick handle now sits with the other social links in Pro settings and saves with a single button.
We added a batch of new achievements: Diamond Master (redeem the Diamond Master channel-points reward on badgebase_de), Discord Booster, Sub Veteran (12 cumulative sub months), Super Donator (50 โฌ+ donated), Alert Squad (Discord Badge Alert role) and Bot Summoner. Check your profile to see which ones you already have.
Subs & gifts now count double toward your XP, and the level tiers were rebalanced so ranks mean more. New: the BadgeBase chat bot replies to #badges in your channel (enable it in your login area) โ and there's a new ๐ค achievement for it. You can now also type #badges Name to look up someone else's badges.
Your login area is cleaner now: Pro settings sit right up top, and the big emote showcase moved out โ your emotes already live on your profile.
The activity feed now shows level-ups live โ with their own filter button. Watch collectors climb from Rookie all the way to Legend in real time.
Your 7TV badges now count toward your BadgeBase level, and each one shows up in your XP activity feed. We also rebalanced the XP weights and widened the level tiers (Rookie โ Legend) so the very top stays exclusive. How it all works: FAQ.
New Discord slash command /badges shows anyone's badges & level right in chat. And your login area now has an XP-progress panel with your latest activity. Achievements also give a bit more XP now.
The new XP Leaderboard ranks the most active collectors by BadgeBase level โ badges, achievements, subs, gifts, donations, referrals, daily logins and comments all feed your XP.
All rankings โ Achievement, Free, 7TV, Kick, 2026, Streak and Hype Train โ now share one chip bar in the header, so you can hop between them without hunting for footer links. New in the settings: hide the achievement section on your profile with one switch, and see whether your Discord is linked. Speaking of which: everyone verified via /discord/ now gets a server role automatically. The ๐/๐ thumbs in this changelog reveal on hover who voted.
Every game in the Arcade now has a Top 10 under the playfield โ Badgle counts solved daily puzzles, Higher/Lower the longest streak, Memory the fewest moves with the time shown as tiebreaker, Timeline perfect rounds. Play logged in to rank; a podium spot unlocks the new Arcade Top 3 achievement, which links straight to your podium game. Got game ideas? Post them in the Discord!
First real Pro feature: in the settings there is now a Pro Settings section where Pro Members maintain their social links โ YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord and website appear as icons next to the name on their profile. Everyone can see the section; editing unlocks with the Pro Membership. Also live: /discord/ links your Discord in one click and awards the Discord Member achievement.
The subscribe page is now the Pro Membership โ same Twitch sub, clearer name, and a fourth perk card: Discord perks like early test builds and discussing features directly with me. Two fresh achievements replace TBA slots: First Blog Comment (Founder badge icon) and Discord Member (linking starts at /discord/ shortly). Mystery achievements no longer reveal their solution on other people's profiles. And every comment now has a ๐ button that copies its permalink, preview card included.
The August overview is live: every global badge you can collect this month, from the Egg (Roblox Egg Hunt, until Aug 26) through the EWC 2026 levels (until Aug 24) to the DbD Pride Icon (only until Aug 10). The article grows as new drops appear โ in all five languages.
On the leaderboard the achievement leaderboard now leads the list of other rankings, ahead of the Hype Train. And the notification bell no longer repeats your daily streak check-in โ the streak page already celebrates that itself.
July 2026
Comments on badge pages and the blog can now be reacted to, Discord-style โ except the reactions are badges: the Egg, the Fallout Ghoul, the Bungie heart, Fright Fest, Mod Founder, PogChamps and the DbD Pride icon. Reactions people used sit as little chips on the comment, the rest waits behind a ๐ button; hover a chip and it tells you who reacted. You can press as many as you like, and pressing again takes it back. There is also a new home for the conversation: the comment feed lists every comment across the site, and the ๐ฌ filter joined the activity feed.
The activity feed now carries comments: whenever someone comments on a badge or a blog post, it shows up as an event โ with the badge icon, the first words as a tooltip, and the permalink as the click target. A new ๐ฌ filter chip switches them on and off; it takes the spot of the System chip, whose badge discoveries now simply run under the Badge filter. Under the hood, profile pages got a big one too: search engine crawlers no longer trigger live Twitch lookups, which makes cold profiles load for them in half a second instead of five โ better crawling, less server load, and snappier pages for everyone in busy hours.
Every collector profile now has its own RSS feed: add /u/wuestenigel/feed.xml (swap in any name, like uafrancesc's) to your feed reader and get every newly collected badge as an entry, with the badge image attached. Hidden profiles have no feed โ the same rules as the profile itself. Two smaller touches from today: the streak Recover offer now lives inside the flame pill with the number it would bring back, and donors on the collector wall wear their ๐ again right next to the subscribers' ๐.
Every badge page โ say the Egg badge โ now has a comment section right below the how-to-get-it text. Sign in with Twitch, ask a question or share how you got the badge, edit or delete it later โ one thread per badge, shared across all five languages. Mention someone with @name and it links straight to their profile, and a Reply button starts your comment addressed to them. Comments count toward the First Comment and 10 Comments achievements, together with the blog. Every comment gets a shareable permalink (like this one) that jumps to and briefly highlights the exact comment.
Somewhere on the site, an egg is waiting. Every day, roughly one in ten pages hides the Egg badge down in the bottom-left corner โ visit profiles, badges and leaderboards to find it, click it, and it counts. Reloading the same page will not help: the eggs move to different pages for everyone each day, and you can catch at most five per day. Two new achievements come with it: First Egg for your very first catch and Egg Hunter for collecting 100. Signed out, you can spot the eggs but not catch them โ logging in with Twitch fixes that in one click. Happy hunting!
A big round of search engine work across every page type. Badge pages now ask the questions people actually google โ โHow to get the Egg Twitch Badgeโ and โWho has the Egg Badge?โ โ as real headings in all five languages. Listing pages like all badges, the timeline, the rare badges and every leaderboard got descriptive titles instead of one-word labels, search snippets were rewritten or trimmed to the length Google actually shows, and hundreds of badge icons across profiles, streaks and the feed now carry their badge name as image text. Invisible on the surface, but it is how new visitors find the archive.
The blog grew a comment section. Log in with Twitch, say what you think, edit or delete it later โ one comment thread per article, shared across all five languages. Alongside it there are new achievements: First Comment and 10 Comments for the conversation, Bug Hunter for anyone who reports a real bug, and a Mystery achievement that does not tell you how to earn it. Badge pages also got clearer headings, so a search result now says what the page is about instead of just a codename.
A round of performance work. The activity feed and every leaderboard now sit behind a short page cache that rebuilds once instead of once per visitor, and profile pages stopped pulling cached blobs out of the database that nothing on the page needed. A missing database index went in, and the heaviest query on the site got replaced by a single indexed column. Profiles now load in roughly 0.2 seconds. Server side there are proper cache headers, and error logging is finally switched on, which immediately surfaced four warnings worth fixing. Also new: the feed has a System filter, subs and gifted subs share one chip, and badges nobody has collected are out of the listings unless they are still running.
Three things at once. The leaderboard loaded nearly 4,000 badge images at once, none of them with a reserved size โ so it arrived slowly and jumped while it did. They now load as you scroll and hold their space. Every page also finally sends a cache header, which mostly helps search engines: they were re-fetching everything on every visit. And if a friend invites you with a link like badgebase.de/ref/name, you now actually see who invited you โ that box only existed on profile pages, while the link itself sends you to the homepage.
The collector number on a badge page is now a link. Click it and you get every single claim of that badge โ the same activity feed you know from the feed, only narrowed to that one badge, with the same charts and the same rows. What went away for it: the short "latest claims" list that used to sit in the middle of the badge page. Eight names is an odd number โ too few to answer who actually has this, too many to pass by. Now it lives where you go looking for it, and it is complete. The QR code on your collection card also changed: it points through /ref/share now, so I can finally see how often anyone scans it.
Every badge page names a start, an end and a discovery time โ and all three used to be written in my clock, Central European. If you collect from Sรฃo Paulo or Sydney, that meant doing the arithmetic yourself, and a badge that opens at 00:30 here is still the day before over there. The times now show in your timezone, with the matching abbreviation next to them. Nothing was moved: the pages are cached as finished HTML, so the server cannot know where you are โ your browser does the conversion, from the timezone the page has been carrying in its markup all along. If you sit on Central European time, you will see no difference at all. And the original stays one hover away.
If you wear a 7TV paint, your collection card now comes as an animated GIF too โ next to the PNG button on your profile. The name inside wears your paint: an animated one runs its colours through the letters, a static one simply paints them. Your equipped 7TV cosmetic moves along. None of it is recreated โ 7TV serves paints and cosmetics as moving images itself, and those are what run here. A second card lives in settings for your Hype Train emotes, with the count and every emote, highest levels first โ and there every single emote moves. That takes a few seconds, and the button says so. On your profile the name now wears the paint live as well, with nothing to load. Also new in the header: your follower count next to the join date, and the social icons finally show on a phone too.
There is now a Kick leaderboard. It counts the Kick badges you picked in settings, and it shows them too: next to every name are the badges themselves, not just how many. One thing the page says out loud, because it has to be true: these numbers come from the people themselves. Kick allows no request from a server, so there is nothing to verify against. On a profile the rank now sits next to โ12 Other Badgesโ and leads there. The catalogue now covers levels 1 to 50 with no gap, and levels count as a full badge again: ๐ฅ Kick Collector needs three, levels included. On a phone the level row folds up, because fifty tiles were half a screen of scrolling.
The Kick levels are back and got their own row in the login area: badges are something you collect and can have many of, a level is something you have exactly one of, so it now sits apart as a single choice. The catalogue runs from level 1 to 44. Kick tiles on a profile now carry Kick's own green as their border, so you can tell what comes from where in a row that mixes five sources. The heading is plainly "12 Other Badges" again with one number over everything, because only 16 of 8,289 accounts hold a Kick badge at all and "0 Kick Badges" would have greeted almost everyone. New behind the scenes: badgebase.de now records where a visit came from โ search engine, social or link โ which until now only Google Analytics knew. Only the host is stored, no identifier, and only when the visit really comes from outside. And if you are on a desktop, here for the first time and about to leave, one window asks whether you want to hear about new badges. Once per browser, never on profile pages.
Your profile now says how many achievements you have, with your rank next to it: 42 Achievements ยท Rank #3. The rank links to the new achievement leaderboard, which counts all 50 of them and shares a place when two people are level. My own accounts are deliberately not on it, so the top is actual collectors. Two new achievements come with it: ๐ฏ Achievement Hunter for a place in the top 100 and ๐ API Developer, which needs an API key that has actually been used rather than merely created. Also new: the reminder box on upcoming badges lost its ticking countdown, since the exact window sits two lines above it anyway, and gained the optional Twitch name the signup page has always had. And it no longer hides itself from people who happen to share a browser with a subscriber.
Every connected account has an invite link in Settings now: badgebase.de/ref/yourname, or the personal form /u/yourfriend/ref/yourname that lands on your friend's own profile instead of yours. Anyone connecting for the first time through it counts for you, and Settings shows the clicks, the signups and the friends themselves with their avatars. Three rules keep it honest: only a first-ever login counts, you cannot refer yourself, and once somebody is credited to you they stay yours. New with it: ๐ค Tell-A-Friend, ๐ฅ Top 100 7TV for a place in the top hundred of the 7TV leaderboard, and ๐ฅ Kick Collector for any Kick badge at all. The API also has an OpenAPI spec, so Postman or a client generator can read it without being told anything twice.
Two new achievements right after Streamer: 100 Streams and 1000 Streams, both showing your actual count. Settings also tells you how many streams you have done, in the last 365 days and as far back as the records go. Twitch cannot answer this, so the number is looked up once and then kept for a week, which means the achievement appears after your first visit to Settings rather than instantly.
Save your Kick name in Settings and a grid appears below it with every Kick badge I have on file. Tick the ones you wear and they land on your profile. Green ring for owned, greyed out for the rest, the same language the emote grid speaks. Levels are a single choice rather than a row of checkboxes, because you are on exactly one. Unticking works too, which is what makes it a setting instead of a claim form. On the profile the row is now called Kick & Other Badges and sits above 7TV, led by Kick: Verified first, then newest, levels last. The tiles no longer link to a Kick channel, since the icon next to the name already goes there once. Your own profile carries an Edit link straight to the picker.
Browsers still running on the old โญ favorite now get a one-off bar suggesting they connect their Twitch account instead. It is a suggestion, not a deadline: your streak lives on the profile itself and keeps counting either way. 180 of the 309 favorited profiles seen in the last 30 days belong to accounts that never connected, so there is a real audience for it. One click dismisses it for good. Also fixed: Kick turns underscores into hyphens in its channel URLs, so the link for an account like soba_me_la pointed at a page that does not exist. Every Kick link is now built in one place that knows this.
The BETA banner is gone from Settings. Connecting your Twitch account reads your Hype Train emotes, shows you which ones the set in rotation is still missing from your collection โ green for owned, red for a gap โ and links you straight to a channel with a train running. Your own place on the Hype Train leaderboard sits next to it. Ideas still very welcome in Discord, the banner asking for them just does not need to be the first thing on the page any more.
New Developers section in Settings: create your own key and read the archive as JSON. Five endpoints, among them which badges somebody owns and which ones they are still missing โ the second one lists only what you can actually still claim, so it reads as a to-do list. Every badge carries its badgebase.de link, and 60 calls a minute is plenty for keeping something in sync.
New switch in Settings: keep my profile unlisted. It takes you out of every leaderboard, the search, the activity feed and the sitemap, and asks search engines to leave the page alone. Your profile itself keeps working, so anyone you hand the link to still sees your collection. Emotes now show on profiles by default, the Hype Train row in Settings marks the levels you have not reached yet in red the same way your profile does, and a Read again button re-reads your emotes from Twitch whenever you want. That read is also more stubborn now: it retries every page instead of stopping at the first hiccup, so a half-finished read no longer looks like a finished one.
The supporters page and the stream overlay both count active subscriptions now, straight from Twitch, so the number matches the goal widget on the channel instead of drifting above it as older subs lapse.
Open a blog post with a language picked and you land in that language, whatever link you followed. The blog index already worked that way; the articles do now too. Search engines keep seeing the English original, so nothing shifts underneath them.
July brought 80 of the 106 changelog entries this site has ever had, so I wrote the whole month up properly: BadgeBase in July 2026, in German and English, including the three things I took back out again. The July badge roundup also grew to 32 badges in all five languages: La Velada VI, Spider-Man and Budz joined at the end of the month. And the supporters page gave its top three gifters a real podium again.
The โญ favourite button is gone from profiles. Connecting your Twitch account at Login sets your favourite for you, from an account Twitch vouched for, which beats a star someone clicked by mistake. Nothing you already set has changed: your streak, the corner shortcut, the pre-filled forms and your personal feed all keep working exactly as before. If you are starting fresh, the login is the way in now. Tell me in Discord how that lands.
The feed gained an โญ chip that narrows every claim, sub, gift and follow down to one person, and the word Collected in a profile heading links straight to it. The ๐ bell moved to the top right where people look for it, announces the day your streak is secured, and now shares what you have read across your devices, so clearing it on your phone clears it on your desktop.
New board: who owns the most Hype Train emotes. Each row shows the highest train that person rode, and your profile shows the same count with your rank next to it. The board only knows people who connected their Twitch account, so it grows as more of you do.
Heart Lover, Event Hopper and Hattrick print the actual count instead of just the threshold, and Hattrick names your biggest day rather than your latest. Early Adopter shows your real join position. Two new ones read from the Twitch login: ๐ Hype Conductor for riding a train past level 50, wearing the very emote you earned, and ๐ก๏ธ Moderator for modding at least three channels. Heart Lover is back, ๐ Raffle Champ joins Raffle Master for anyone who actually won, and High Five retired. Two slots sit marked TBD: got an idea? Tell me in Discord.
A new login lets you connect your Twitch account to BadgeBase. Still BETA, so tell me in Discord what it should do next. Connecting reads your Hype Train and reward emotes once and keeps them, so the collection grows with every check instead of showing whatever a single moment returned. Switch them on and they appear on your profile, along with the channels you moderate. Badge Alert signup arrives pre-filled, the account you logged in with becomes your favourite, and your streak counts without needing the star.
Plenty of collectors stream on Kick under a handle that isn't their Twitch name. Their profile header now carries the green Kick icon anyway, pointing at the right channel.
On a creator's profile, the corner widget now embeds their own live stream when they are on air, instead of the house stream. Badge pages keep pointing you to a streamer live in that badge's category so you can watch and earn it. And the supporters page grew its VIP circle to the Top 30 gifters, lined up a tidy 10 per row on desktop.
The homepage gains a glowing ๐ Win Turbo button โ jump straight into the Turbo giveaway. And the BadgeBase Follow and Wuestenigel Follow achievements now light up much faster: both channels' followers are synced hourly, so a new follow lands within the hour instead of waiting up to a day. New followers are still celebrated in Discord, now bundled into one tidy post.
BadgeBase focuses on badges: the emote explorer and every /e/โฆ emote page have been retired and now return a clean 404, dropped from the sitemap along with their Discord alerts. Nothing else changed โ the whole badge archive, profiles and achievements stay exactly as they were.
The board grows to a round 40: ๐ฃ Gift Bomber (5+ gifted subs) and ๐ Sub Tsunami (50+) join Gifter, โฐ Nick of Time honors claiming a badge in its final 60 minutes (awarded retroactively!), ๐ Series marks collecting on 3 different days, ๐ฅณ Anniversary celebrates a full year on BadgeBase (retiring Veteran โ same honor, nicer name), and ๐ฅ 365 Day Streak crowns the flame set.
Paid badges that haven't started yet now carry a signup box with a live countdown โ leave your email and get a note the moment the drop goes live (Double opt-in, one-line consent, no checkbox hurdles). The dead claim button disappears before launch on every badge and only shows while a badge is actually claimable. Already on the list? The site notices and stops pitching you.
The ๐ now warns โณ 6 hours before a badge ends โ same heads-up the Discord gets โ with the time remaining ticking down. And with a โญ favorite set, it turns personal: a ๐ thank-you when your donation, sub or gift arrives, and a ๐ ping when you unlock a new achievement.
Everyone who has ever subscribed to or gifted in badgebase_de's chat now wears BadgeBase Viewer and BadgeBase Sub in their profile's Other Badges row โ automatically, future supporters included.
The ๐ Early Adopter achievement used to trust the raw database id, which skips huge ranges โ only 636 people ever qualified as "first 10,000". It now counts your real join position, so everyone who actually was among the first ten thousand finally gets it. The share button is also back on mobile profiles, and the sub goal climbs in steps of 10 again.
The July badge roundup grew to 29 badges โ Hotline, Meccha Chameleon, SAND, the FFXIV Fan Fest EU pair and the six EWC co-streamer badges joined, TwitchCon San Diego flipped to started. Updated posts now resurface honestly: original publish date stays, a green Updated stamp and fresh schema dates do the lifting. Rarest tightened to a top 21.
A little ๐ now lives in the bottom-left corner: it counts what happened since your last visit โ badges discovered and badges gone live โ and jumps you straight to them. Mark everything read or mute it entirely; your choice sticks in your browser.
New badges, straight into your feed reader: badgebase.de/feed.xml carries every fresh discovery with its official description, dates, free/paid tag and artwork โ in five languages via /de/feed.xml & co. And ๐ Badge Alert moved from the footer to a big glowing button on the homepage, with the signup page now listing every other channel too.
The blog joined the site-wide language scheme (/de/blog/โฆ instead of /blog/de/โฆ, old links redirect), page titles now speak all five languages, and on /de/, /es/, /fr/ and /ru/ pages every internal link keeps you inside your language โ profiles link German badge pages, cross-links stay German, everything.
The full archive gained two sort chips โ ๐ฐ๏ธ Oldest and ๐ฅ Popular โ that combine freely with the price filters and survive switching them. The homepage itself now orders by badge reality: freshest live badges on top, upcoming below with the soonest launch first.
Each of the 300+ badge pages now carries an About This Badge section in all five languages: how it was earned, when it ran, free or paid, how many collectors hold it, and where its design comes from. Written from the archive data badge by badge, from Mod Founder to Raging Wolf Helm.
Badge pages now suggest what actually fits: event badges (TwitchCon & co.) show Similar Badges from the same family, everything else shows what's live right now โ free badges lean free, paid lean paid, the soonest to expire first. The pages also got leaner: fewer, stronger links.
Profiles now fold in Kick badges alongside the 7TV and third-party ones, and the 7TV badge you actually wear in chat is marked with a green โ. The subscriber perks link through to the streaks board and your profile.
Profiles now show your chat badges from other services too โ FrankerFaceZ, BetterTTV, Chatterino, DankChat, FFZ:AP and tduva โ right below your 7TV badges, at the largest size each provider offers.
Every profile now carries ๐ Badge Alert โ drop in your email and get a short note whenever a new global Twitch badge goes live. Double opt-in, unsubscribe in every mail, and there is a signup page too. Two new achievements came with it: ๐ฃ for joining and ๐ธ Card Sharer for downloading your badge card.
Two achievements for the long-timers: ๐ Twitch 5 Years and ๐๏ธ Twitch 10 Years, based on when your Twitch account was actually created. Heart Lover is back as well.
Gifted a sub? Your profile now shows a ๐ count next to your streak, and a new Gifter achievement sits beside Donator โ both linking to the subscribers page. 7TV Addict moved into the old 3-day-streak slot.
Profile ranks used to stop at #1000, which meant roughly nine in ten collectors saw no rank at all โ and no sign that one existed. The board now goes down to #10,000, so you can see where you stand and what it takes to climb.
Broke a run? Your profile now offers ๐ Recover Streak โ subscribe and your all-time best comes straight back, with the flames to match. Offered from a personal best of 3 days up, and subscribers never break a streak in the first place. The streaks board also stopped listing runs that had already ended โ a broken streak kept its rank for days.
The archive now filters by Status (Aktiv / Bald), Preis (๐ฐ Bezahlt / ๐ Kostenlos) and โ once you've favorited a profile โ Sammlung (โ
Gesammelt / โ Fehlt). Everything combines, filters instantly without a reload, keeps a live count and offers a โ reset as soon as a filter is active. Paid badges now carry a unified paid tag (subs and TwitchCon alike), which the calendar lists in every event, and badge cards show a blue Bald tag for upcoming drops or a green Gesammelt / red Fehlt marker for your favorite.
Search now tucks away behind a ๐ in the nav instead of crowding the button row. All 30 profile achievement tooltips are now properly translated into all five languages โ previously the cached achievements could serve one language's text to everyone. Rarest lists 50 badges, and Rarest and the timeline โ which now defaults to ending soon โ traded their button rows for a single back link. Badge pages also lost the clutter around supporter hearts.
Six fresh profile achievements: 10- and 100-day streak flames ๐ฅ (earned once you ever hit them on the streaks board), BadgeBase Sub ๐ for anyone who has ever subscribed, plus Free Spirit ๐ for 50+ free badges and Veteran ๐ช for a year on BadgeBase.
The badge calendar now goes personal: add your username and the feed shows only the badges you're still missing โ with ๐ / ๐ฐ markers, a purple BadgeBase colour and a calendar named BadgeBase.de Calendar for @you. Use it once and the new Badge Calendar ๐๏ธ achievement unlocks on your profile for life.
The activity feed got a cleanup: gift bombs collapse into one row per gifter (โ+Nโ instead of a wall of โgifted a subโ lines), the list shows a tidy 50 at a time, and the type filters gained All / None buttons plus a much deeper loaded history โ so switching to Subs, Gifts or Follows always has something to show.
New: check-in streaks ๐ฅ โ mark your profile as a favorite โญ and visit it every day (a new day starts at 2 AM CET) to build a streak. It shows as a flame next to your rank and climbs the streaks board. Subscribers get streak protection: missed days pause the streak instead of resetting it.
The subscribers page now leads with a Top 50 Gifters board โ ranked by lifetime gifted subs, with ๐ ๐ฅ ๐ฅ marking the biggest three โ followed by the latest subs and a live Sub Goal ๐ฏ.
The activity feed now folds in subs ๐ and gifted subs ๐ alongside badge claims, follows, extension installs, donations and new-badge discoveries โ with a row of filter chips to show just the kind of activity you care about.
Profiles now show the badge you have equipped on Twitch right next to your name โ linked straight to that badge โ so visitors see your pick at a glance.
Badges about to expire now fire an alert in the Discord badge channel the moment they drop under six hours left โ never miss a last-chance claim. Keep an eye on the ending-soon timeline.
A new personal post: why I collect badges everywhere โ from POAP and Garmin to three different chess collections โ what it means to me, and why digital badges never clutter the shelf.
The badgebase_de stream overlay now celebrates the newest subscriber right in the header โ or the gifter ๐ when it was a gifted sub โ next to a live Sub Goal (๐ฏ) that ticks up the instant a new sub lands.
The who missed this badge pages now link straight to the rarest badges ranking, and lost the chatty footnotes to keep the focus on the list.
Badge claims now flash up as live cards on the badgebase_de stream overlay the moment they land โ grab a live badge, open your profile, and watch your name pop on the timeline within seconds.
We're giving away Twitch Turbo! Read how to win it for free โ a new post now live in all five blog languages โ and enter with one click. Anyone who doesn't currently hold the Turbo badge sees the giveaway on their profile, and Turbo shows up as a claimable badge again for past owners.
Opt-in per-badge Amazon deep-links: German visitors get an orange "Game bei Amazon" button on badges that have one, and the Prime Gaming badge now shows a Prime testen CTA โ all routed through tracked /to/ short links.
The timeline now closes the loop: a Recently Ended strip lists the last 10 badges that expired โ you see the tail of each run-out, not its whole history โ and the grey bars finally say ENDED. At the other end, a badge dropping within 24 hours now pulses blue, the mirror of the red pulse that already warned you one was about to vanish.
Profiles flagged ๐ฉ Under Review for suspicious badge activity no longer appear in any leaderboard โ global, Free, 7TV or year โ and carry no rank on their profile either. They're out of everyone else's rank maths too, so the standings stay gapless and honest. The profiles themselves stay reachable by direct link.
The Streamer Hub puts supporters first and finally renders animated 7TV profile pictures like the rest of the site.
The Twitch extension page now charts its active-user history โ a live graph tracking daily usage all the way back to launch on March 1.
Every badge page now shows a Discovered date โ when BadgeBase first tracked the badge โ right beside its start and end dates, in all five languages.
The Latest Claims feed on badge pages now highlights supporters just like Top Collectors โ a pink ring, a ๐ and a Supporter chip so donors stand out.
Profiles flagged for suspicious badge activity now carry a red ๐ฉ Under Review marker โ on the profile header and next to their name across every leaderboard. Keeps the rankings honest.
BadgeBase now speaks English, Deutsch, ะ ัััะบะธะน, Espaรฑol and Franรงais โ pick yours from the new flag dropdown in the footer. Every page and blog article is fully translated, with proper hreflang cross-linking for search engines.
The Streamer Hub now spotlights supporters who are live right now with autoplaying player embeds at the top โ up to six at once, big and front-and-center.
When you donate and your Twitch handle can be matched, BadgeBase now says thank you automatically โ an embed in the Discord badge channel and a live shoutout in chat on wuestenigel and badgebase_de.
Blog articles are now sorted into categories like Badges and Twitch Updates โ filter the blog straight to the topic you want.
Fresh in Twitch Updates: a deep dive on Twitch's hands-free "Twitch, Clip That" voice clipping. The July 2026 badge roundup also got the three Pokรฉmon GO team badges added.
Star any profile as your favorite via the โ button on /u/<name>/ and the homepage archive lights up every badge they haven't collected yet with a thick red border and a small red Fehlt / Missing chip under the date. Instantly see what's still needed to complete a friend's set.
Everyone who donated now carries a small pink ๐ Supporter chip next to their name โ both on their profile header (linked to /donate/) and inline on the global leaderboard so you can spot the folks who helped keep BadgeBase running.
Amazon and Twitch-Guthaben CTAs now route through a /to/ short-link service that tracks every click by slug, badge, referrer and traffic source. On sub badges (DE), the Twitch-Guthaben affiliate moved from a big CTA to an orange tag chip beside the badge tags โ the new tracking surface lets me see which badges actually drive clicks.
Homepage, badge detail, profile, timeline, donate and streamer pages now render in Deutsch or English based on your footer language toggle. Profiles pick up a German bio automatically when set. The XML sitemap announces both language versions of every blog article with proper hreflang alternates.
Self-hosted Impressum (ยง 5 DDG) and full GDPR-compliant Datenschutzerklรคrung โ bilingual, covering every third-party service (Google, Twitch, PayPal, Billomat, Cloudinary, 7TV, Discord, All-Inkl).
The blog is now bilingual โ every article ships in Deutsch and English with proper hreflang tags and a language switcher in the header. The first post: every new Twitch badge for July 2026.
The homepage now defaults to currently claimable badges only โ the full archive moved to /all/. Keeps outbound links per page under Google's recommended limit.
For German visitors, badge pages show an orange "Auf Amazon kaufen" button next to Claim โ keyword pulled from the badge's Twitch category.
Every badge page shows a callout linking back to any blog article that references it.
New /leaderboard/2026/ ranks collectors by badges that started in the current year โ hover the count for a preview of that year's haul.
New /timeline/ shows what's live right now and what's coming next. This /changelog/ page is new too.
Five new achievements โ The Whale, Top 10, Hit Me Up IRL, High Five and Active 2026 โ plus reworked icons across the board. Night Owl now unlocks after a single overnight claim.
Real names, custom bios and richer profile metadata for on-page SEO, Open Graph previews and section headings.
June 2026
The missed-badges pages (like You Got This) now show your global position instead of an in-list rank.
When a collector has an animated 7TV custom profile picture, it plays across BadgeBase โ leaderboards, profile header, chat preview.
Every badge page now lists streamers actively broadcasting in the badge's Twitch category, with a live indicator.
New /leaderboard/7tv/ with expandable badge lists, animated paints and 7TV profile pictures across the site.
New /leaderboard/free/ ranks users purely by freely-obtainable badges.
Every expired badge has a dedicated page listing who missed it โ e.g. You Got This shows exactly which Top-100 collectors skipped Ronaldinho's ball.
April 2026
New /streamer/ lists every streamer that has ever appeared in the archive.
The leaderboard now shows a red counter of recently-expired badges each user missed, with a hover preview grid.
Profile pages celebrate their user's Twitch account birthday with a banner and confetti.
Fast client-side badge autocomplete on the homepage and each profile.
March 2026
Every profile got a personal year-in-review page โ see mine at /u/wuestenigel/recap/2026.
The BadgeBase Twitch Extension went live โ badge stats and collector data right inside Twitch chat.
Put any two collections side-by-side and see the overlap โ e.g. /compare/wuestenigel/compi64/.
A quiet corner for retired global Twitch emotes at /emotes/graveyard/.
๐ Milestone: BadgeBase.de got its own git repository at github.com/wuestenigel โ the code lives in private version control from here on.
January 2026
๐ The site moved off wuestenigel.com/badges/active/ and got its own home at badgebase.de. Considered day one.
