The checkmark of Twitch chat: Verified is a global Twitch badge introduced in April 2017 that marks Partner channels. It has nothing to do with identity verification: the check stands for a status earned with reach, not with ID documents.
How do you get it? Through the Twitch Partner Program, the tier above Affiliate. To apply, Twitch requires the completed Path to Partner achievement, plus at least 6 separate streams in the two months before applying and an average of 75 concurrent viewers over 30 days; content has to follow the guidelines, and even meeting every bar is no guarantee of acceptance. In return, partners get subscription tiers, Bits and ad revenue, up to 60 emotes and 60-day VOD storage.
