How to get the SUBtember 2026 Twitch Badge
The SUBtember 2026 badge is the global chat badge for Twitch's annual subscription event. You unlock it by subscribing, gifting a sub, or spending Bits on any monetised channel while SUBtember is running. Once it is yours you keep it, and you can wear it whenever you like long after the event has ended.
ποΈ The qualifying window opened on 28 August 2026 at 7 PM CEST and closes on 1 October 2026 at 7 PM CEST, which is 10 AM PT on both days. The badge itself only started showing up in accounts on 4 September. Twitch also takes up to 72 hours to hand out event badges, so do not panic if it is not next to your name the same evening.
SUBtember 2026in 30 seconds
What is discounted: 25% off a new 1-month sub, 25% off a new 3-month sub and 30% off a new 6-month sub, at any tier. The discount applies to the first term only; after that the sub renews at the normal price. New for 2026, the Tier 2 and Tier 3 discounts work on iOS and Android for the first time, not just on the web.
What is not discounted: existing recurring subs, Prime subs, gift subs and Turbo. Existing subscribers still have a way in, though. Upgrading a Prime sub or a gift sub to a paid one counts, and so does moving up a tier or extending to a longer term. Simply renewing does not.
Two extras sit inside the month. From 12 September, 7 PM CEST until 19 September, 1 AM CEST you get 10% Bonus Bits, occasionally more, when you spend 100 Bits or more on a Custom Power-Up (web only). And from 26 September, 7 PM CEST until 1 October, 7 PM CEST the Bonus Gift Subs finale runs: every 5 community gift subs in a channel earn one bonus gift sub from /minecraft, with up to 50 more handed out at random. Single-month community gifts only, and one transaction tops out at 200.
