Gears of War: Reloaded

Gears of War: Reloaded is a remaster of the 2006 third-person shooter Gears of War, co-developed by The Coalition, Sumo Digital and Disbelief. It was released on 26 August 2025 for Windows, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5, making it the first game in the series on a non-Xbox console, as VGC reported.

The story follows Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad on the planet Sera, where humanity is fighting the Locust Horde, which emerged from underground on Emergence Day. The original by Epic Games helped popularise the cover-based shooter, and according to Wikipedia it was the fastest selling video game of 2006.

Reloaded builds on the 2015 Ultimate Edition and adds 4K resolution, a 60 fps campaign, 120 fps multiplayer, HDR and spatial audio. Previously released DLC is included, and progress carries over between platforms via a Microsoft account.
