BadgeBase Changelog

Every month gets a recap on the blog.

Vote on new features in the Product Backlog.

October 2026

BadgeBase is moving around October 8 📦 October 5 🔗

From around October 8 I'm moving house, and the servers behind BadgeBase are coming with me. For a few days there will be no stream, so the chat bots, channel points and everything else around the stream take a break too. The website and Discord keep running the whole time. I'll post an update here as soon as everything is back. If something looks off afterwards, tell me via support.

Limerino badges 🍋 October 6 🔗

Badges from the chat client Limerino now show up on your profile under Other Badges, next to FFZ, BTTV, Chatterino, Moltorino and the rest. Right now that is the animated Limerino Founder badge. New Limerino badges appear on their own as soon as someone has them.

No more #claim reminders 🔕 October 4 🔗

I have switched off the heads-up in #claim when a badge you are still missing ends in less than 24 hours. It caused too many mass pings, and many of you only collect the free badges anyway, not the paid ones. Discord Alerts still ping you for new badges and go-lives.

Tidier settings ⚙️ October 3 🔗

Your settings are sorted more clearly now: language, Email Alert, Discord Alerts and notifications sit at the top, followed by the profile switches in the same order as the sections on your profile. Turn notifications off and the bell in the bottom left disappears completely.

7TV higher up on profiles 🟣 October 3 🔗

Your 7TV badges and paints now sit right below the achievements on your profile, ahead of Other Badges and Capes.

Discord Alerts 🔔 October 3 🔗

New in your settings: Discord Alerts. Turn it on and you get the Badge Alert role on my Discord, so you are pinged when a new badge appears. On top of that you get a heads-up in #claim when a badge you are still missing ends in less than 24 hours. Already have the role on Discord? Then it is switched on for you automatically, and you can turn it off at any time.

Profiles for the top streamers 📖 October 3 🔗

The most watched Twitch channels now have a short profile on their BadgeBase page: who they are, the most common questions, numbers from the last 30 days and a source. New climbers into the top 100 get theirs automatically.

LIVE label on profiles fixed 🔴 October 3 🔗

The LIVE label on a profile picture now disappears as soon as the stream has ended. Before, it could stay visible for hours.

Top Streamers 📺 October 3 🔗

New: the 100 most watched Twitch channels worldwide, ranked by hours watched in the last 30 days, with average viewers, peak and followers. Every name leads to the streamer's profile with all their Twitch badges, and some profiles now have a short bio with the most common questions.

How many people really have a badge 🔢 October 3 🔗

Every badge page now shows a second, smaller number below the collectors: how many people own the badge on Twitch according to PotatBotat. The big number stays the collectors on BadgeBase, hover over both to see where they come from. Updated daily.

Halloween pumpkin hunt 🎃 October 3 🔗

Until October 31, pumpkins instead of eggs are hiding all over the site. You can catch up to 5 a day, and with 100 you get the new achievement Pumpkin Hunter. After Halloween the egg hunt comes back.

New Hype Train emotes on your profile 🚂 October 3 🔗

The Halloween Hype Train set (one emote per level, Level 1 to 5) now shows up on your profile as soon as you have unlocked it. Level emotes come first, after that the newest ones.

Subscriber pages for igeltwink and wuestenigel 💜 October 3 🔗

igeltwink and wuestenigel now have their own subscriber pages, with VIP for the top gifters on both channels: on igeltwink the top 30 gifters of the channel, on wuestenigel the channel's lifetime gifters with a running sub, filled up to 30 with current subscribers. The VIPs update every hour.

Easier to read backlog 📋 October 3 🔗

Long ideas in the backlog are now folded with a Read more button, and code someone posts sits in its own code window instead of one big block of text.

Welcome card for BadgeBaseDE followers 👋 October 3 🔗

New followers of the second channel BadgeBaseDE now get their own welcome card on my Discord every night, just like the main channel. If your Discord is connected to BadgeBase, you get a personal ping.

Moltorino badges 🏷️ October 3 🔗

Badges from the chat client Moltorino now show up on your profile under Other Badges, next to FFZ, BTTV, Chatterino and the rest. New tiers appear on their own as soon as someone has them. Thanks to ich_klau_gratis_brot for the suggestion!

Tidier profile header 🧹 October 1 🔗

On desktop your badge count now sits big in the top right corner of your profile. Reload is a small icon next to Settings, and logging out has moved to the settings, so the row next to your name stays short.

Streak protection with 3 days of grace 🔥 October 1 🔗

If your sub to my main channel runs out and you renew it a few hours later, a check-in in that gap no longer breaks your streak. Streak protection now also covers the first three days after a sub ends.

Subscriber page for igeltwink 🐥 October 1 🔗

igeltwink now has its own subscriber page, just like BadgeBaseDE: everyone currently subscribed, the latest subs and the top gifters. You find it at the bottom of the subscribers page.

Gifter of the month 🏆 October 1 🔗

The subscribers page now shows the top 5 gifters of the current month on my main channel, right above the lifetime top 60. At the start of a month the previous month stays up until the new one has three gifters, so nobody stands alone on the podium on day one. The top three also get their own role on my Discord automatically: │ Gold, │ Silver and │ Bronze Gifter, always with the month in the name. The roles move every hour as the ranking changes, so a big gift late in the month can still change the podium. Your Discord needs to be connected to BadgeBase for the role.

September 2026

Goodbye YouTube and TikTok 👋 September 30 🔗

The BadgeBase channels on YouTube and TikTok were a fun experiment, but I will not continue them. From now on I focus on the places where you already are: Discord and Twitch. That is where new badges, drops and streams show up first.

Drop buttons open the right campaign 🎯 September 30 🔗

The buttons on the drops page and in the drop cards on Discord now take you straight to the matching campaign in your Twitch drops dashboard, so you can see its rewards and progress right away.

Cape collectors get their own Discord role 🧥 September 29 🔗

Everyone on the capes leaderboard now gets the cape role on our Discord automatically. You need three things: your Discord connected to BadgeBase, your Minecraft capes ticked in the settings and a NameMC or laby.net profile added, so anyone can check the claim. The role is updated every hour, and it goes away again if you drop off the list.

Renamed on Twitch? Your quests count again 🔁 September 29 🔗

If you renamed yourself on Twitch, BadgeBase sometimes still looked at your old, empty profile: daily quests stayed open even though you had done them, and the same could hit your level, the notification bell, the wheel of fortune or the giveaway. Now everything uses your current profile, and quests look at all your names at once. Big thanks to DieSendungmitdemHasi (formerly xxxhasi) for reporting it.

New achievements: Chiller and 420 Hours in Chat 😌 September 28 🔗

Hanging out in my own chat at twitch.tv/wuestenigel now counts too. After your first hour there you unlock Chiller, right next to Lurker, and every hour earns 10 XP. Stay 420 hours and 420 Hours in Chat is yours. Who hangs out the longest is on the new wuestenigel lurk list. Heads-up: I will probably reset this list within the next 24 hours, so everyone starts with the same chances. As always, only hours while you are logged in to BadgeBase count.

Three achievements retired 🗂️ September 28 🔗

Late Claimer, Commenter and Badge Calendar are gone from the achievement wall. They had outlived their purpose, and the new chat achievements take their spots, so the wall still has 100 tiles.

Share your Kick, 7TV and cape collection with /badges 🖼️ September 27 🔗

The /badges command in our Discord's share channel now has a second option, type. Pick Kick, 7TV or Minecraft Capes and you get an image card of that collection instead of your Twitch badges. Without a type it stays Twitch, just like before. The Kick card looks just like your Twitch card, with your profile picture and your Kick rank, and the 7TV and cape cards show your leaderboard rank in the top corner.

New achievement: Kick Sub 🦄 September 27 🔗

Subscribe to wuestenigel on Kick and you unlock Kick Sub. Save your Kick name in the settings, BadgeBase spots the subscription on its own. It sits right after Kick Collector on your achievement wall.

Kick role on Discord (Beta) 🟩 September 27 🔗

If you have connected both Discord and your Kick name with BadgeBase, you now get the Kick role on our Discord automatically. I match the names across all three: Discord, BadgeBase and Kick. This is still a beta, so tell me if the role is missing for you.

New achievement: Decathlon 🏅 September 27 🔗

Ten fresh badges on a single day earn you Decathlon. Fresh means each one was claimed within a week of its start, so a first scan full of old badges doesn't count. It replaces Polyglot and sits right after Hattrick on your achievement wall.

New achievement: Kick Collector 🐐 September 27 🔗

Get three Kick badges on your profile and you unlock Kick Collector. Save your Kick name in the settings, BadgeBase reads your badges and level straight from Kick, and the achievement follows on its own. Where you stand against everyone else is on the Kick leaderboard.

Profiles stay full, even when Twitch stalls 🛡️ September 27 🔗

Some of you saw a profile with zero badges after hitting refresh. That was Twitch timing out on its side, and BadgeBase saved the empty answer as if it were your collection. Now a failed answer is retried once and never stored: if Twitch still doesn't respond, you see your last known collection instead of an empty grid, and nothing is counted as lost.

Two dates on every profile 📅 September 27 🔗

Under the name it now says when you joined Twitch and when you first logged in to BadgeBase, for example "Member since March 2018 / July 2026". Hover a date to see the exact day and which is which. Profiles that never logged in show only the Twitch date. The Anniversary achievement counts from that same first login.

Kick badges always land on the right entry 🟩 September 26 🔗

Kick calls a badge one thing in chat and another on its drops page: World of Warcraft Forever showed up as "WorldofWarcraftForeverBeta" on user cards, and for a day that created a second entry with no text. Fixed: badges read from Kick are now matched by image, name and campaign, so every badge lands on the one catalog entry with the real description. Saving your Kick name in the settings puts you on the Kick leaderboard right away, no extra step. Typing !sync in the chat on kick.com/wuestenigel is only for an instant refresh, and the reply now shows the time it was synced.

Badge alerts have their own Discord channel 🔔 September 25 🔗

New badge found, badge going live, new Kick badge: those three now post in a dedicated badge alerts channel on our Discord, and only there does the Badge Alert role get pinged. The main channel keeps its quieter notes (a badge showing up on Twitch, drops, videos, the daily list) without a ping. Same information, fewer interruptions, and one channel you can mute or follow on its own.

Fewer mails, and never the same one twice ✉️ September 25 🔗

Two mail types are gone: the "new in the archive" mail and the "ends in six hours" reminder. What stays is the go-live mail for badges I have checked, the weekly, the streak saver and the giveaway and team reminders. Thanks to everyone who told me it was too much. On the way I also fixed a bug: if you had renamed your Twitch account, BadgeBase kept the old name as a second entry with the same address and sent every mail twice. Renamed accounts are merged now, and one address gets each mail once.

Feed: the exact second on hover ⏱️ September 25 🔗

In the feed, hover over "3 minutes ago" and you get the exact time down to the second. Handy for the first-claim race: now you can see by how many seconds you missed it. Entries from profiles that were added to BadgeBase after the fact, where nobody knows the real claim time, are marked "time unknown" instead of pretending to be earlier than they were.

Timeline: only what you're missing 🔍 September 24 🔗

The timeline has a third tab next to Newest first and Ending soon: Missing. Log in and it hides every badge you already own, so what is left is exactly what you can still go and get, live and upcoming. Not logged in, it simply shows the full list.

Kick badges now come straight from Kick 🟩 September 24 🔗

Enter your Kick username in your settings and BadgeBase reads your Kick badges and level from Kick itself, no more ticking boxes, and it refreshes once a day. Type !sync in the chat on kick.com/wuestenigel and the BadgeBase bot puts you on the Kick leaderboard and answers with your rank. The bot also says hello to new followers while I am live.

Minecraft capes leaderboard 🧥 September 24 🔗

The capes leaderboard ranks collectors by the Minecraft capes they ticked. Capes are self-declared, so the board only lists accounts that added a NameMC or laby.net profile in their settings, where anyone can check the claim. Both links sit right under the cape picker, and your profile shows your rank next to the capes heading. The catalog also grew: Common, Zombie Horse and Mojang Office are back on the list.

Renamed accounts count once 🧹 September 23 🔗

If you renamed yourself on Twitch, your old name kept its badge count and sat on the leaderboards next to your new one, the same person twice. I merged all 578 affected accounts: badges, check-ins and streaks now live under the current name, old names only redirect and no longer appear on any ranking. A daily run keeps it that way. Thanks to lasertecevents for the report, the Bug Hunter achievement is yours.

Minecraft capes on your profile 🧥 September 23 🔗

Tick the Minecraft capes you own in your settings, on your honour, and they show up as their own section on your profile, right under Other Badges. Every cape has a page under /c/ with the picture, how it was earned and who wears it here, from Migrator and Purple Heart to the new Dungeons II capes Hero and Twisted.

Kick badges got their own pages 🟩 September 23 🔗

Every Kick badge now has a page under /k/: picture, drop window, watch time, how to get it and who wears it here. The Kick tiles on profiles are clickable. First entry with a full write-up: the World of Warcraft Forever badge, 50 hours in the new category until 31 October.

The Kick leaderboard is back 🏆 September 23 🔗

The Kick badge leaderboard is live again, this time only with checked accounts. Pick your Kick badges in your settings, then type !sync in the chat on kick.com/wuestenigel and you are on the board right away. Change your picks later and you drop off until the next !sync. I spot-check, cheaters get removed.

Badge Alert now covers Kick 📨 September 23 🔗

When a new badge drops on Kick, the Badge Alert goes out the same way as for Twitch: an email with what, where and how long, and a card with ping in Discord. First one out today: World of Warcraft Forever. Turn Badge Alert on in your settings if you want them.

New achievement: Tier 3 Sub 💎 September 22 🔗

Anyone holding a Tier 3 sub to badgebase_de now gets the Tier 3 Sub achievement, right next to BadgeBase Sub. It stays as long as the sub runs. Besides the extra support for BadgeBase, Twitch unlocks the GIF keyboard for Tier 2 and Tier 3 subs, so you can post GIFs straight into the chat. To make room, Friend Circle (5 referrals) is retired; Tell-A-Friend and Word of Mouth stay.

All Twitch Drops on one page 🎁 September 22 🔗

The new drops page lists every Twitch Drop campaign that is running or coming up, and at the top the ones that come with a global badge, free or with a sub. Click an entry and it opens up with start, end, who runs it and the link to the campaign on Twitch. Badge pages now link their start and end dates there too. You will find it in the footer under Drops.

New Partners worldwide get their profile right away ⭐ September 22 🔗

Every day BadgeBase checks which channels have just become Twitch Partners. Until now that only covered German channels. Now the worldwide list is included too, and every new Partner gets their BadgeBase profile set up the same day, fresh Partner badge included. So when you look up a channel that just made Partner, the profile is already there. The daily Discord post still only lists the German ones. Everyone who just made Partner shows up in the Partner feed.

Drop campaigns find their badges more reliably 🎁 September 21 🔗

BadgeBase reads Twitch's Drop campaigns and links them to the matching badges, which is where the exact start and end times come from. The CONTROL Resonant launch slipped through: the campaign name matched neither badge, and it came with two badges at once. Now a campaign is also matched through its game category, and one campaign can carry several badges. Each badge gets its own card in #badgebase on Discord, even if it only shows up after the campaign.

New channel points effect: Let it shine ☀️ September 21 🔗

Next to snow, rain and fire there is now a sun for the stream overlay on badgebase_de: a round sun in the corner, slowly turning rays and a lens flare across the picture. You trigger it with the channel points reward “Let it shine”, and like the other effects it counts toward your XP. The idea came from the community, thank you for that.

Profiles that supposedly did not exist 🛠️ September 21 🔗

If you opened a profile that was not in the cache at that moment, you got a 404 page as if the account had never existed. The cause was an expired Twitch access token with a wrong expiry date: BadgeBase considered it valid, Twitch rejected every request, and the page read that as “Twitch does not know this name”. It is fixed twice over now: the token renews itself the moment Twitch rejects it, and a hiccup on Twitch's side leaves a known profile standing instead of making it vanish. If a profile came back as “not found” for you these past days, try again.

The subscriber curve in the stats is honest again 📈 September 21 🔗

On the stats page the line of active subs ran dead straight for weeks, and it could not be hovered either. The reason: the daily values it was built from stop at the end of August, and a gap gets drawn as a straight connection. Every day is now assembled from three sources, the curve shows its waves again, and every single day can be hovered. Same for the second channel.

Jump links at the top of your profile 🧭 September 20 🔗

Profiles have grown long. So the top right now carries links to the sections of the page: achievements, other badges, 7TV and Hype Train. One click takes you straight there. Only the links that exist on that profile show up, so if you have not connected 7TV or own no Hype Train emotes, you never see them. On a phone the row still fits, because the left side shortens to “Home”.

The badge page now shows who is live 🔴 September 20 🔗

For badges tied to specific channels, the badge page now shows which of them are streaming right this moment: profile picture, name and viewer count, one click takes you straight into the stream. It starts with WSCI 2026 and the tournament's 85 channels. Paid badges say a sub or a gifted sub is what counts, free ones say watching is enough. Once a badge has ended, the section disappears on its own.

The second-channel achievements are back 🏅 September 19 🔗

Mid-month I retired BadgeBaseDE Follow and BadgeBaseDE Sub to focus on the main channel. I am taking that back: both sit in their old spot on your achievement wall again, and following the second channel earns a giveaway ticket once more. Nobody lost anything on the way. I restored the 1,288 old unlocks with their original dates, and anyone who has unfollowed or let their sub lapse since keeps the tile anyway.

One card fewer in the stats 📊 September 19 🔗

The stats page carried a „Google traffic“ card with visits from Google search per day. It is gone, because its number did not line up with what Google Search Console reports: I counted it from referrers, Google counts differently, and two numbers that claim to mean the same thing while disagreeing help nobody. Every other card stays as it is.

Badge links now open as a card on Discord 💎 September 18 🔗

Sharing a link to a badge used to show a picture. Now Discord builds a proper card from it: free or paid, how many collectors there are, how many of the top 100 have it, start and end in your own timezone, the first collector, and a button straight to the badge page. A profile shows the card, the badge count and the rank. This is still an experiment: Discord only just described the feature, and wherever it does not apply yet you get the familiar preview image. Grab a link from the timeline and drop it in my Discord.

New Discord command: /subs 💚 September 18 🔗

/subs in my Discord shows how many subs both Twitch channels have together, how they split up, who the biggest gifters are, where the records stand and what the last 90 days look like as a curve. The command is mostly a thank you: subs pay for the servers and buy the hours that keep this site growing. Without you there is no archive, no new features and no next badge hunt.

/badge gets to the point ✂️ September 18 🔗

The card from the Discord command /badge was longer than some chat histories: below the facts sat the entire long-form text from the badge page. That is gone. What stays are the plain numbers, the window and the official Twitch description. If you want to read more, hit the button and you are on the badge page.

Several badges, one email 📬 September 17 🔗

Four new badges used to mean four emails, back to back, saying nearly the same thing. From now on I bundle badges that start or end at the same time into a single message. The four PAYDAY badges went out as one mail, with all four images and one shared deadline. Nothing changes about your settings in the Badge Alert.

Card Sharer moves to Discord 💎 September 16 🔗

Until now you earned Card Sharer by downloading your own badge card. From today it works differently: the achievement lands in your profile as soon as someone looks you up with /badges in my Discord. Because the condition is new, I reset the achievement for everyone. One /badges and it is back. The command also answers with your profile card now instead of a single line of text.

The supporter chip on profiles is gone 💜 September 16 🔗

The top of every profile carried the rank, the level and next to them a chip for everyone who had donated. It is gone, simply for lack of room: that line is crowded enough by now, and anyone who donates already has the achievement sitting in their profile. The same thing twice in the same spot is one time too many. The thank you stays, it just lives one row further down.

Update: BadgeBase now runs behind Cloudflare 🛡️ September 14 🔗

This morning I wrote about the “429 Too Many Requests” errors (status update). Since then a lot has happened: BadgeBase now runs behind Cloudflare. Every visit first reaches one of Cloudflare’s data centers close to you, and only then my server. Since the switch I have not measured a single 429 for a regular visitor. What changed for you: pages like profiles, leaderboards and badge pages are served straight from a nearby data center if you are not logged in, so they appear almost instantly. They can be up to about ten minutes old. If you are logged in, you still get fresh data, and the refresh button on a profile still pulls your badges from Twitch. Bots are now filtered before they reach my server: the endless crawls through every language version are blocked, and profile visits from data centers or some VPNs may briefly show “Checking your browser”. Normal visitors should not notice any of this. Behind the scenes, my server now shows an older copy immediately when a page has expired and updates it in the background, instead of making you wait. Emails, Discord, the Twitch integration and the stream overlays keep working as before. I will keep watching the numbers over the next days. If something looks wrong or you still get a 429, please tell me via support.

Status update: I am working on the 429 errors 🛠️ September 14 🔗

Over the last few days some of you ran into “429 Too Many Requests”, sometimes after only a few clicks. That message comes from my hosting provider: as soon as the server gets too busy, it briefly turns away everyone, including completely normal visitors. So I went through a full day of traffic, and two things stand out. First, a flood of anonymous bots: in a single day more than 125,000 different addresses requested profile pages, almost all of them only once or twice, most of them disguised as normal browsers, and they clicked through every language version of every profile. Second, BadgeBase itself creates a lot of work in the background, from stream overlays to Discord syncs and scans that run around the clock. What I changed today: the language menu no longer hands bots endless links, profiles stay cached much longer for visitors who are not logged in (if you are logged in, you still get fresh data), the stream overlays ask the server less often, and the hourly background jobs no longer pile up in the same minute. Next I am looking into extra protection such as Cloudflare and, if that is not enough, a move to a dedicated web server. Thanks for your patience! If you still get a 429, please let me know via support.

Your gifted subs are counted correctly again 🎁 September 13 🔗

Some gifters saw fewer gifted subs on their profile than they had actually given: one showed 12 instead of 16, another 1 instead of 7. Once a notification from Twitch got lost, the counter could fall behind for good. It now catches up on its own, and the XP for those gifts is back as well. Thanks to JillyKins777 for spotting it.

Emotes load in full and browsing runs smoother 🏎️ September 13 🔗

On profiles with a large emote collection, only the first rows showed up and the rest stayed empty. The cause was my hosting provider’s request limit: a single profile could fire more than 140 image requests at once, and the last ones were rejected with “429 Too Many Requests”. Emotes now load directly, so a profile sends only a handful of requests to BadgeBase. Clicking quickly through profiles also no longer lands you on the “Slow down” page after a few dozen views, and the slowest leaderboards (Hype, 7TV, Free and the yearly list) are prepared in advance.

First Claim is fair now 🥇 September 13 🔗

Twitch staff and test accounts sometimes own a badge days before it officially starts, which took the First Claim achievement away from the people who really claimed first. Those accounts no longer count, and the badge pages and the achievement now agree on who was first.

Your Hype Train emotes update themselves 🚂 September 13 🔗

Until now your emote inventory was only re-read when you pressed “Refresh” in your settings. If your login session had expired in the meantime, that button quietly did nothing, which is exactly when you needed it. It now refreshes by itself as soon as your stored inventory is older than a week, so there is nothing left to press. Thanks to the person who kept insisting via Support that their Hype Train count was wrong: they were right.

Security update after a community pen test 🛡️ September 13 🔗

xLiiesa voluntarily checked BadgeBase for security holes and sent me a detailed report. Thank you! The key points are fixed: login and sessions are hardened, and sensitive areas now only open with a real login. You do not need to log in again. For the effort there is the Bug Hunter achievement. If you notice something yourself, write to me via Support.

Private profiles are now truly private 🔒 September 13 🔗

If you hide your profile in the settings, it now stays hidden everywhere else too: no share images, no widget, no yearly recap, no comparison, no personal feed and no personal calendar. Chat commands like !rank no longer reveal anything about a private profile, unless the person asks about themselves.

The favorite star is gone ⭐ September 13 🔗

The star you once used to mark a profile as your own no longer exists. It dates from before the Twitch login, and nearly everyone has been using the login for a long time. Now everything follows your logged-in account: which badges you are missing, your highlighted row on the leaderboards, your feed and your streak. When you are logged out, the site no longer shows anyone as you. You do not need to log in again.

#checkin belongs in the main channel 💬 September 13 🔗

In the second channel badgebasede, #checkin and #claim no longer count. Instead you get a short note in your language with a link to the main channel badgebase_de, where your daily #checkin earns XP as usual.

Rarity Seeker only for truly rare badges 🔍 September 12 🔗

A badge now only counts for Rarity Seeker once it has been live for at least 24 hours. Right after a start every badge has few collectors, and that does not make it rare yet. Anyone who only got Rarity Seeker that way has lost it again. With a genuinely rare badge it comes back on its own.

Club 500 🏆 September 12 🔗

Behind The Whale there is a new step now: Club 500 for 500 or more Twitch badges. Nobody is there yet, the top of the leaderboard sits at 243, so whoever gets there first has the tile to themselves for a while.

Kick leaderboard and Kick Collector retired 🥊 September 12 🔗

The Kick leaderboard and the Kick Collector achievement are gone. I would have loved to fill both automatically, but Kick does not let a website read which badges someone has: its official interface only knows roles like moderator or verified, and the profile data behind it blocks every request from a server. What was left were numbers people entered themselves, with no way to check them, and a ranking built on that is not fair to anyone. Your Kick badges stay on your profile, and Kick Follow stays as well.

Stream widgets (Alpha) 🧩 September 10 🔗

Streaming yourself? The BadgeBase widgets are free browser sources for OBS and co: a badge tile with Watch or Sub / Gift, your own badge collection, a live badge timeline, a countdown to the next badge and the full overlay with your channel name on top. Paste the link as a browser source and you're done. It's still an alpha, so things may change. Tell me on Discord what you need.

Rank achievements stop cheering twice 🎖️ September 10 🔗

Achievements like Top 50 come and go when you hover around the edge of a leaderboard. Every time you got one back, it was celebrated like a brand new unlock: a Discord ping, a message in Twitch chat, the bell and another +1000 XP line in your history. Your XP never actually went up, but it looked like it. Now an achievement is only celebrated the first time you earn it. Thanks to MizukiHarro for reporting it, which earned them the Bug Hunter achievement.

A tidier backlog 🗂️ September 10 🔗

The product backlog is easier to read. Open ideas, implemented ones and declined ones now each have their own section, with jump links at the top, and you can sort by newest or by most upvoted. When I turn an idea down, you can see why right under it. And the support system now feeds the backlog: if a ticket contains a good idea, I can add it with one click. It shows up as a Support Ticket, without naming who wrote it.

Faster pages, fewer hiccups ⚡ September 10 🔗

A lot of pages used to build themselves while you waited. Profiles in particular asked Twitch and 7TV for fresh data on almost every visit, which could take up to four seconds. Profiles, the feed and the leaderboards are now kept ready in the background, and the most visited profiles are refreshed before anyone asks for them. The server also copes much better when it gets busy, so error pages on crowded evenings should be far rarer. Good to know: profile data can now be a few hours old. If you just earned a badge, the refresh link on your profile fetches everything right away.

Numbers that agree 🧮 September 10 🔗

A few numbers on the site did not match each other, and now they do. XP and level are the same on your profile, in the corner widget, on the login page and on the leaderboard, where they could be a whole level apart before. The lurker rank from the chat bot matches the lurker leaderboard. Achievement pages count their real holders again. And the orange live button on a badge page now opens the stream that is actually embedded above it. Spot a number that still does not add up, or have a question? Tell me on Discord.

Burn points, change the stream 🔥 September 9 🔗

Three new channel point rewards on badgebase_de: Let it snow, Let it rain and Let it burn. 1001 points each, and the overlay changes for five minutes. Only one effect runs at a time, so redeeming rain during snow swaps it rather than piling both on top of each other. They count as burned points exactly like Burn for XP does, so you still get the XP for them.

Missing bits and gifted subs now find their way in ⚡ September 9 🔗

Twitch sends its events without any delivery guarantee, and when one went missing the XP for it went missing too. Cheered bits, gifted subs and burned points are now checked against Twitch directly every few minutes, so a dropped event repairs itself instead of waiting for someone to notice. The very first run recovered 37 gifted subs across 24 people. Nothing can be counted twice: the check mirrors what Twitch reports, it never adds on top.

Twitch blog news in Discord 📰 September 9 🔗

New English articles from the official Twitch blog now show up in the BadgeBase Discord automatically, within minutes of going live. No need to keep an eye on the blog yourself.

See at a glance what you're missing 🔴 September 8 🔗

Every badge page now ends its tag row with one more chip: green #claimed if your favourite profile already has that badge, red #missing if it does not. Those are the same colours the archive and /missing/ already use, so the same colour always means the same thing. The chip only appears once a badge has actually started, because "missing" makes no sense for something nobody can get yet.

Two more ways into the giveaway 🎟️ September 8 🔗

Following BadgeBase on X and Wuestenigel on Instagram now each earn you an entry in the weekly giveaway. Like YouTube and TikTok, both run on trust: neither platform lets me check someone else's follows without asking you to log in there as well, and that is too much to ask for a single entry. Click the link, the entry is yours.

Badge times now correct themselves ⏱️ September 8 🔗

Reading the Twitch Drop campaigns every five minutes was only half the job. The times shown on a badge still sat where they had once been typed, so when Twitch quietly moved a campaign, the page kept the old numbers. Now the campaign writes back. It caught its first case straight away: nopixel V Launch started three hours earlier and ended a full day sooner than the page claimed. Differences under five minutes are ignored, because Twitch counts in seconds and I do not.

Renamed accounts keep their history 🔗 September 6 🔗

Rename yourself on Twitch and you used to end up with a second, empty profile here — your badges stayed behind under the old name. That is fixed. Open the old address and you are not just redirected: your badges, check-ins and streak move across in that moment. The discovery dates come along too, and where a badge sits on both accounts the earlier find wins, so your collection history is not quietly pushed forward. Over 400 profiles were affected. If something still looks off afterwards, tell me at badgebase.de/support.

BadgeBase is on YouTube now 📺 September 6 🔗

Every badge gets a short: what it is, how to get it, and how long you have. First one is up — youtube.com/@BadgeBaseDE. Where a video exists it also sits right on the badge page, under the claim button. And subscribing to the channel now counts as an entry in the weekly giveaway, one click, same as the Kick follow.

Support tickets 🎫 September 6 🔗

Support has a proper place now: badgebase.de/support. Sign in, pick a category, write. You get a ticket number, and my reply lands in your inbox with a button straight back into the conversation, where the whole thread sits on one page. If a ticket is waiting on you, it reminds you after a day and closes a day later; any answer reopens it. In all five languages.

Three achievements out, four new ones in 🔀 September 5 🔗

Some tiles had outlived their purpose, so they made room. Reactor, Sub Veteran, Bits Whale and Diamond Master are gone. In their place: Wuestenigel Sub for anyone subscribed to the main channel, BadgeBaseDE Sub for the second one, and two tiers for burnt channel points, Burned 100K and Burned the Million. Seven people already hold the first burn tier; the million is still unclaimed, the leader sits at 347,000. The two sub achievements only count while the subscription is actually running, so they light up and go dark on their own. The order got a tidy-up as well: the three day streaks now sit before Chatter, Badge Finder next to Early Bird, Bot Wrangler next to Extension User.

Ten more VIP slots 👑 September 4 🔗

Twitch raised the VIP limit, so the board now runs on 60 slots instead of 50. The rule is unchanged: the top 60 gifters who also hold an active sub get the VIP badge on Twitch and on Discord, plus the VIP achievement here. Ten people moved in the same evening, among them slayer, yak3nt, mileneum and aoshimatv. The preview card at the bottom of the board counts to 60 from now on as well, so it tells you how many gifts are still missing for the new threshold.

Badge times now come straight from the source ⏱️ September 4 🔗

Start and end on every badge page now link to the Twitch Drop campaign they come from, dotted underline, with the small icon for external links. We read those campaigns every five minutes, so the times match to the minute and an extension by Twitch turns up on its own instead of waiting for someone to notice. Matching runs on the name and only when it is unambiguous: for campaigns by other publishers the name has to match exactly, after "Brawlhalla Q&B Drops" by Ubisoft briefly attached itself to our Brawlhalla badge. A new campaign for a badge we already know also gets a quiet card in the Discord, without a ping. See it in action on Onimusha Armament.

!countdown answers what is next 🕒 September 4 🔗

Type !countdown in chat and the bot names the next badge that starts, how long until then, whether it is free or sub-only, and the link. If nothing new is coming up it names the closest deadline instead, which is the more useful answer at that moment. The logic sits on the server, so the bot never carries a second version of the truth about start and end times. The badge's channel emote is appended when there is one, and those are kept tidy on their own now: mappings to emotes that no longer exist on the channel are cleared, new ones are assigned when the name points at exactly one badge. Generic emotes and zoom variants stay out of it on purpose.

Lost XP redemptions now catch themselves up 🔥 September 4 🔗

Three Burn for XP redemptions went missing on September 4th. Twitch never delivered the events, so the 100 XP each never arrived. Thanks to Lpz3nc and isaquenader for pointing it out. The XP were added by hand, and the hole is closed now. The reward was recreated through the BadgeBase app, which is what finally makes its redemption history readable at all, and an hourly job compares that history against the database and fills in whatever the webhook missed. Nothing to do on your end. The reward also wears fire instead of a diamond now.

Follow the second channel, collect a second achievement 🎖️ September 4 🔗

There is now a BadgeBaseDE Follow achievement for the second channel, right next to the one for the main channel. 642 people already have it, because everyone who follows twitch.tv/badgebasede was granted it retroactively, dated to the day they actually followed. A fresh follow counts within seconds, no waiting for the next sync. The giveaway has a matching entry for it as well. The existing main-channel achievement was deliberately left alone: turning it into "follow both" would have taken it away from 2,617 people, since only 330 follow both channels.

Comment achievements untangled, the spam driver removed 💬 September 4 🔗

First Comment is now called Commenter. Sitting right next to First Blog Comment, the old name was nearly impossible to tell apart, and it never meant the same thing: Commenter is for having commented at all, on a blog post or a badge page, while First Blog Comment is for being the very first under an article. Nobody loses anything and the old link keeps working.

10 Comments has been retired. A target of ten produced exactly what a target of ten produces: a lot of spam and throwaway one-liners written to reach the number, not to say something. A single comment still earns Commenter, and that one is worth having.

The second channel gets its own board 💜 September 4 🔗

BadgeBaseDE now has a subscriber page of its own at /subscribers/secondary/: 286 subscribers, 178 of them gifted, a goal bar, the top gifters on a podium and the latest self-subscribers with the date they joined. The second channel also gets 30 VIP slots that fill themselves: the top 30 gifters with an active sub are synced to the channel automatically, and if you are logged in and not in yet, the last slot shows your own card with the number of gifts still missing. The gift counts work differently than on the main channel. There is no lifetime counter for the second channel, so what you see are the gift subs running right now. Everything else, achievements and the Discord role included, still belongs to the main channel and is being wired up step by step. Available in all five languages. Suggested by xliiesa in the backlog.

Every morning: the daily report 📊 September 3 🔗

From now on a card lands in #badgebase at midnight summing up the day just gone: subs and followers as both a running total and the day's gain, plus the average viewers on stream, the visitors on badgebase.de, new logins and new Discord members. For September 2nd that was 1,511 subs (+27), 2,489 followers (+217), 114 viewers on average, 4,335 visitors, 106 new logins and 21 new people on Discord. The numbers come from the same sources as the stats page, so the two never drift apart.

New ideas now sit on top September 3 🔗

The idea board used to sort by approval. That had a catch: a fresh idea with no votes landed below everything else, was barely seen, and could never gather votes. Now the newest suggestions sit on top, and votes only decide between entries from the same day. Anything already done still moves to the bottom.

The chat bot now answers in full sentences 🏅 September 2 🔗

Ask the bot about a badge in chat, say with !pichu or !dawnwalker, and you get a proper answer instead of a string of bullet points. If the drop is running, it says so along with the collector count: “Pichu is live right now! It’s a free badge. 8,338 collectors already grabbed it.” If it hasn’t started yet, you get a countdown rather than a bare date (“starts in about 2 hours”), and for running drops none at all, because it wouldn’t tell you anything. On top of that the bot appends the matching channel emote: 20 emotes are ready, 23 badges are mapped, from badgeb4Pichu to the two Dawnwalker emotes. Everyone in chat sees the images, subscription or not.

20 more VIP spots: top 50 instead of top 30 🎉 September 2 🔗

There are more VIP slots available, and they go straight to you: from now on the top 50 gifters count instead of the top 30. Twenty extra spots, and they apply everywhere at once: the VIP badge in Twitch chat, the VIP role on Discord and the VIP achievement on your BadgeBase profile. The rule itself is unchanged: it is the biggest lifetime gifters among active subscribers, and all three systems follow along automatically. If you just missed spot 30 before, you are in now. The current list lives on the subscriber page.

Watch collectors roll in live on every badge page 🐮 September 2 🔗

A badge's feed — like the Egg badge's — now shows every new claim live as it happens: whoever grabs the badge pops in at the top, no reload needed. Especially on short event badges, you'll spot yourself in the list seconds after claiming. Along the way the page now shows every collector — not just the long-established ones — and refreshes far quicker than before.

Provisional badges retired 🧹 September 1 🔗

We removed the whole „provisional“ badges concept (previews before Twitch officially rolls a badge out) — including the badges themselves, the migration tooling and scripts. In the end it caused more confusion than it was worth. From now on we only show real, confirmed badges.

August 2026

Provisional badges 🔜 August 28 🔗

Stats now count only active badges 📊 August 26 🔗

On the stats page, “badges per day” now counts only badges that are still available. Expired campaigns like the Twitch Recaps no longer skew the curve.

Top 100 really has 100 owners now 🏆 August 26 🔗

The filter chips in the feed now go Badges, Achievements, XP, Subs — same in the global and personal feed.

Feed: no flood from new profiles 🧹 August 23 🔗

The Discord bot (/claim, /giveaway) and the Twitch chat bot (!xp, !rank, !streak, !missing, !watchtime, !giveaway, !winner) now reply in the language you use on BadgeBase (German, English, Spanish, French, Russian). English stays the fallback.

More ways to enter the giveaway 🎟️ August 21 🔗

Level-ups land in your bell 🎖️ August 21 🔗

Every level-up now drops into your notification bell the moment you cross it — no longer only the round-number milestones, and no more waiting for the hourly refresh to catch it.

Achievements stay current 🔄 August 21 🔗

Dynamic achievements (e.g. Top 10, VIP, rare badges) now reflect your current standing: if you no longer meet the requirement, the achievement is removed again shortly after. That keeps the rarity numbers honest.

How rare is your achievement? 🔍 August 21 🔗

New (beta): the achievement overview ranks every achievement by rarity — how many users own each one. Every achievement now has its own detail page with how to earn it, its rarity, rank and owners. Clicking an achievement on your profile takes you straight there.

Daily Quests at a glance 🗺️ August 16 🔗

A new Quest Log shows your daily tasks bottom-right on every page (desktop): secure your streak, #checkin in chat, lurk 1h, Burn for XP, and spin the Wheel of Fortune. Finished ones tick off — and once all five are done it hides until tomorrow. Toggle it in your settings.

Watch achievements fill up + Jackpot 🎰 August 15 🔗

Locked achievements now show your progress: a bar fills from left to right and the tile brightens the closer you get — so you can see you're at 21 / 50 gift subs, not just "locked". Plus a new one: Jackpot! for hitting the 10,000 XP grand prize on the Wheel of Fortune.

See exactly how to earn XP 💡 August 15 🔗

The leveling FAQ now lists every way to earn XP in one place — badges, cheering Bits, chat watchtime, daily #checkin, raids, burning channel points and the daily Wheel of Fortune. Hit the How to Earn button in your profile settings or read it in the FAQ.

The notification bell now surfaces real product updates too — every new changelog entry shows up there so you never miss what changed. Tap one to read the full note.

Wheel of Fortune — spin for XP 🎡 August 15 🔗

New in the arcade: spin the Wheel of Fortune once a day and win XP. Small prizes are common, but the grand prize is a massive 10,000 XP — rare, but it happens! Incoming raids pay off too now: 10 XP per viewer a raider brings (once a day), on top of the repeatable Raider achievement.

Your level, right on your profile 🎖️ August 15 🔗

Your BadgeBase level now sits on your profile next to your rank. XP comes from badges, chat watchtime, bits, gifts and more — the higher your level, the higher your tier. See where you stand on the XP leaderboard.

Watchtime, tracked and rewarded 💤 August 15 🔗

BadgeBase now tracks how long you lurk in the badgebase_de chat. Every hour in chat earns 10 XP, unlocks the new repeatable Lurker achievement (one hour is enough!), and climbs the new Top Lurkers board. Type !watchtime in chat to check yours. Only logged-in users are tracked.

A nudge before your streak breaks 🔥 August 14 🔗

If your visit streak is still alive but you haven't checked in today, BadgeBase now pings you on Discord in the evening with a link to your profile — so a long streak doesn't quietly die overnight. Only for streaks worth protecting, and only if your Discord is linked. Keep it going on the streaks page and link up in Discord.

VIP, consistent everywhere 💎 August 14 🔗

VIP now means the same thing wherever it appears: the top 30 gifters among active subscribers. That is the badge on the subscribers page, the VIP role in Discord, and the VIP achievement on your profile — before, the achievement used a slightly different list and could go missing for someone who was VIP everywhere else. The subscribers page now also shows a tidy top 30 gifters and the latest 30 subscribers.

Kick badges, now as an API 🥊 August 13 🔗

The Kick badges we track for a channel are now a public endpoint: /api/kick-badges.php?u=<handle> returns them as JSON with each badge's name and icon. It's CORS-open and needs no key, so you can pull your badges straight into a stream overlay, and the handle works by either Kick name or Twitch login. Browse the ones we track on the Kick leaderboard.

Chat commands are live 💬 August 12 🔗

New WuestenBot commands in the badgebase_de chat: !missing lists the currently claimable badges you don't have yet, !rank your badge rank, !streak your visit streak, and !xp (or !level) your level and XP. Add a name to check someone else, e.g. !rank igelchess.

New game: Badge Atlas 🗺️ August 12 🔗

A GeoGuessr for badges: pin each event badge on the world map and see how many kilometres you were off — TwitchCon cities (Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, San Diego, Las Vegas…) and a few country badges. Lowest total distance wins. Play it in the Arcade. (The old Timeline game has retired.)

The Arcade is back — two new games 🕹️ August 12 🔗

BadgeBase Arcade moved to /arcade/ and got two new games: 6 7 (tap 6, then 7, then 6… as the numbers grow and pop) and Speed Challenge (a pure reaction-time test). Your personal best now shows right on each game tile when you're logged in, and finishing any game earns the new Arcade Gamer 🕹️ achievement. More games coming — suggest one in Discord.

Subs get a shout in Discord 💜 August 12 🔗

Subscribe or gift a sub on badgebase_de and, if your Discord is linked, you get a shoutout in the badge channel — a gift pings the recipient too when they're in the server. Link your account in Discord.

Vote on what we build next 💡 August 12 🔗

New Product Backlog: the ideas that shape BadgeBase, suggested by you and voted up or down just like this changelog. Each idea shows who suggested it and whether it's New, Declined or already Implemented — with a link straight to the changelog. Got an idea? Drop it in Discord; the best ones land on the board and earn you the new Product Feedback 💡 achievement.

You show up on stream now 🎬 August 11 🔗

Type in the badgebase_de Twitch chat and your message pops up as a slick card on the overlay — your avatar, 7TV paint, your equipped badges, plus your BadgeBase badge count and rank. Cheer Bits or burn Channel Points for XP and you get your own animated 🎉/🔥 alert. Come say hi on stream!

Check in straight from chat 🔥 August 11 🔗

Type #checkin in the badgebase_de Twitch chat and grab your daily XP right there: 100 XP (110 with Pro 💜). It's its own thing, completely separate from your visit streak. The bot credits it to your profile and shouts you out with a link. Once per day, come back tomorrow for more.

Bug Hunter badge is live 🐛 August 11 🔗

Spot a real bug and tell us, and you earn the Bug Hunter 🐛 achievement. First one goes to a viewer who caught a glitch where a brand-new account briefly showed a few achievements it hadn't earned yet. Found something odd? Ping us in Discord — the next 🐛 could be yours.

Preview your share card 🖼️ August 11 🔗

Haven't shared your badge card yet? Tapping the Card Sharer tile on your profile now opens a preview of your own card in a new tab, so you can see exactly what you'd be sharing. Actually download it once and the Card Sharer achievement is yours.

Refer a friend, earn XP 🤝 August 11 🔗

Your invite link now pays off: every friend you bring in is worth 2,000 XP. To keep it fair a referral only counts once your friend has actually logged in and their Twitch account is older than a month, so throwaway accounts don't game it. See who you brought in, and which ones don't count yet, in your dashboard.

More top lists live on stream 🏆 August 10 🔗

The badgebase_de stream overlay now rotates through four leaderboards live: Top Gifters, Top Collectors, Top Cheerers (Bits) and the most Channel Points burned. Support the community and you show up right there on screen.

Badge comments paused 💬 August 10 🔗

We're pulling the comment section on individual badges again for now. The idea was user-generated content in the shape of good questions and helpful answers, but what mostly showed up was comment spam, honestly can't blame anyone for that. 😅 Comments on the blog stay exactly as they were, and we can bring them back to badges any time if there's demand.

Cheer Bits → earn XP 💜 August 10 🔗

Cheering Bits (and Power-ups) on badgebase_de now earns XP — every 100 bits = 1,000 XP. Climb the brand-new Bits leaderboard, unlock the 💜 Bits Booster badge, and watch it pop up live in chat, on your profile and in your XP overview. More badge slots are already teased for what's next.

Live chat shout-outs 🔥 August 9 🔗

The badgebase_de chat now reacts live: follows get a shout-out (and check whether you already own the current featured badge, nudging you if not), and burning channel points on Burn for XP gets called out with a link to the burned leaderboard.

Hype Train alerts in Discord 🚂 August 9 🔗

When a Hype Train starts on badgebase_de, our Discord now announces it — at the start, on every 5th level and whenever a new all-time record falls. Along the way: your profile now shows who sponsored your sub 🎁, and the Pro perks got a cleaner order.

Burn for XP — a repeatable reward 🔥 August 9 🔗

New on badgebase_de: redeem Burn for XP (1000 channel points) for +100 XP — or +110 as a Pro member. It's repeatable, so grind as much as you like, and it unlocks the new 🔥 Burn for XP achievement. Redemptions show up in the activity feed and your personal XP overview.

Four new achievements 🏅 August 8 🔗

Fresh badges for your profile: Affiliate and Partner (your Twitch status — Partners get both), 100 Gifts for gifting 100+ subs to badgebase_de, and Raider for raiding the badgebase_de channel.

New Discord command: /leaderboard 🏆 August 8 🔗

Type /leaderboard in Discord to pull up the top collectors right in chat — by badges (default), or add a type for XP, achievements or longest streak. Anyone who linked their Discord shows up with their handle (no ping).

BadgeBase on Discord shows what's live 💎 August 7 🔗

The BadgeBase.de Discord app now shows a rotating status: how many Twitch badges are live right now, the current Pro Members count, plus the freshest, next and newest badge.

Your gift count, right on the badge 🎁 August 7 🔗

The Gifter, Gift Bomber and Sub Tsunami achievements now show how many subs you've gifted, right in the tooltip.

Kick handle joins the Pro links 🟢 August 7 🔗

Your Kick handle now sits with the other social links in Pro settings and saves with a single button.

A wave of new achievements 🏅 August 5 🔗

We added a batch of new achievements: Diamond Master (redeem the Diamond Master channel-points reward on badgebase_de), Discord Booster, Sub Veteran (12 cumulative sub months), Super Donator (50 €+ donated), Alert Squad (Discord Badge Alert role) and Bot Summoner. Check your profile to see which ones you already have.

XP rebalance + a chat bot 🤖 August 5 🔗

Subs & gifts now count double toward your XP, and the level tiers were rebalanced so ranks mean more. New: the BadgeBase chat bot replies to #badges in your channel (enable it in your login area) — and there's a new 🤖 achievement for it. You can now also type #badges Name to look up someone else's badges.

Tidier login area 🧹 August 5 🔗

Your login area is cleaner now: Pro settings sit right up top, and the big emote showcase moved out — your emotes already live on your profile.

Level-ups now show in the activity feed 🎖️ August 4 🔗

The activity feed now shows level-ups live — with their own filter button. Watch collectors climb from Rookie all the way to Legend in real time.

7TV badges now earn XP + refined level tiers 7️⃣ August 4 🔗

Your 7TV badges now count toward your BadgeBase level, and each one shows up in your XP activity feed. We also rebalanced the XP weights and widened the level tiers (Rookie → Legend) so the very top stays exclusive. How it all works: FAQ.

Discord /badges + your XP progress 👾 August 4 🔗

New Discord slash command /badges shows anyone's badges & level right in chat. And your login area now has an XP-progress panel with your latest activity. Achievements also give a bit more XP now.

New: XP Leaderboard 🎖️ August 4 🔗

The new XP Leaderboard ranks the most active collectors by BadgeBase level — badges, achievements, subs, gifts, donations, referrals, daily logins and comments all feed your XP.

New: BadgeBase Level 🎖️ August 4 🔗

Your profile now shows a Level (top-left) that climbs with your activity — collecting badges, unlocking achievements, subs, gifts, donations, referrals, daily logins and comments all add up. How it works: see the FAQ.

Two new achievements: Discord Chatter & Discord Master 🗨️ August 4 🔗

Two new badges for active Discord members: Discord Chatter (reach level 5) and Discord Master (level 20, Mega Wüsti). Both sync automatically with your Discord roles every 30 minutes.

Leaderboard chips everywhere, hideable achievements & a Discord role 🏅 August 2 🔗

All rankings — Achievement, Free, 7TV, Kick, 2026, Streak and Hype Train — now share one chip bar in the header, so you can hop between them without hunting for footer links. New in the settings: hide the achievement section on your profile with one switch, and see whether your Discord is linked. Speaking of which: everyone verified via /discord/ now gets a server role automatically. The 👍/👎 thumbs in this changelog reveal on hover who voted.

Vote on features 👍👎 August 1 🔗

Every entry in this changelog now has thumbs: log in with Twitch and rate what you like (or don't) — that tells me what to build more of. Ten votes unlock the new Feature Voter achievement. And the Arcade now sits in the footer of every page.

Arcade rankings & the Arcade Top 3 achievement 🕹️ August 1 🔗

Every game in the Arcade now has a Top 10 under the playfield — Badgle counts solved daily puzzles, Higher/Lower the longest streak, Memory the fewest moves with the time shown as tiebreaker, Timeline perfect rounds. Play logged in to rank; a podium spot unlocks the new Arcade Top 3 achievement, which links straight to your podium game. Got game ideas? Post them in the Discord!

Pro Settings: social links, and Discord linking is live 👾 August 1 🔗

First real Pro feature: in the settings there is now a Pro Settings section where Pro Members maintain their social links — YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, Discord and website appear as icons next to the name on their profile. Everyone can see the section; editing unlocks with the Pro Membership. Also live: /discord/ links your Discord in one click and awards the Discord Member achievement.

Pro Membership, new achievements & comment links 👾 August 1 🔗

The subscribe page is now the Pro Membership — same Twitch sub, clearer name, and a fourth perk card: Discord perks like early test builds and discussing features directly with me. Two fresh achievements replace TBA slots: First Blog Comment (Founder badge icon) and Discord Member (linking starts at /discord/ shortly). Mystery achievements no longer reveal their solution on other people's profiles. And every comment now has a 🔗 button that copies its permalink, preview card included.

New in the blog: all August 2026 badges 📰 August 1 🔗

The August overview is live: every global badge you can collect this month, from the Egg (Roblox Egg Hunt, until Aug 26) through the EWC 2026 levels (until Aug 24) to the DbD Pride Icon (only until Aug 10). The article grows as new drops appear — in all five languages.

Leaderboard links sorted, quieter bell 🔔 August 1 🔗

On the leaderboard the achievement leaderboard now leads the list of other rankings, ahead of the Hype Train. And the notification bell no longer repeats your daily streak check-in — the streak page already celebrates that itself.

July 2026

React to comments — with badges 🥚 July 31 🔗

Comments on badge pages and the blog can now be reacted to, Discord-style — except the reactions are badges: the Egg, the Fallout Ghoul, the Bungie heart, Fright Fest, Mod Founder, PogChamps and the DbD Pride icon. Reactions people used sit as little chips on the comment, the rest waits behind a 🙂 button; hover a chip and it tells you who reacted. You can press as many as you like, and pressing again takes it back. There is also a new home for the conversation: the comment feed lists every comment across the site, and the 💬 filter joined the activity feed.

Comments in the feed 💬 July 31 🔗

The activity feed now carries comments: whenever someone comments on a badge or a blog post, it shows up as an event — with the badge icon, the first words as a tooltip, and the permalink as the click target. A new 💬 filter chip switches them on and off; it takes the spot of the System chip, whose badge discoveries now simply run under the Badge filter. Under the hood, profile pages got a big one too: search engine crawlers no longer trigger live Twitch lookups, which makes cold profiles load for them in half a second instead of five — better crawling, less server load, and snappier pages for everyone in busy hours.

Your collection as an RSS feed 📡 July 31 🔗

Every collector profile now has its own RSS feed: add /u/wuestenigel/feed.xml (swap in any name, like uafrancesc's) to your feed reader and get every newly collected badge as an entry, with the badge image attached. Hidden profiles have no feed — the same rules as the profile itself. Two smaller touches from today: the streak Recover offer now lives inside the flame pill with the number it would bring back, and donors on the collector wall wear their 💗 again right next to the subscribers' 💎.

Comments & questions on every badge page July 31 🔗

Every badge page — say the Egg badge — now has a comment section right below the how-to-get-it text. Sign in with Twitch, ask a question or share how you got the badge, edit or delete it later — one thread per badge, shared across all five languages. Mention someone with @name and it links straight to their profile, and a Reply button starts your comment addressed to them. Comments count toward the First Comment and 10 Comments achievements, together with the blog. Every comment gets a shareable permalink (like this one) that jumps to and briefly highlights the exact comment.

The Egg Hunt begins 🥚 July 30 🔗

Somewhere on the site, an egg is waiting. Every day, roughly one in ten pages hides the Egg badge down in the bottom-left corner — visit profiles, badges and leaderboards to find it, click it, and it counts. Reloading the same page will not help: the eggs move to different pages for everyone each day, and you can catch at most five per day. Two new achievements come with it: First Egg for your very first catch and Egg Hunter for collecting 100. Signed out, you can spot the eggs but not catch them — logging in with Twitch fixes that in one click. Happy hunting!

A site-wide SEO pass July 30 🔗

A big round of search engine work across every page type. Badge pages now ask the questions people actually google — “How to get the Egg Twitch Badge” and “Who has the Egg Badge?” — as real headings in all five languages. Listing pages like all badges, the timeline, the rare badges and every leaderboard got descriptive titles instead of one-word labels, search snippets were rewritten or trimmed to the length Google actually shows, and hundreds of badge icons across profiles, streaks and the feed now carry their badge name as image text. Invisible on the surface, but it is how new visitors find the archive.

Comments on the blog, and new achievements July 30 🔗

The blog grew a comment section. Log in with Twitch, say what you think, edit or delete it later — one comment thread per article, shared across all five languages. Alongside it there are new achievements: First Comment and 10 Comments for the conversation, Bug Hunter for anyone who reports a real bug, and a Mystery achievement that does not tell you how to earn it. Badge pages also got clearer headings, so a search result now says what the page is about instead of just a codename.

Faster pages, caching and a lot of small fixes July 30 🔗

A round of performance work. The activity feed and every leaderboard now sit behind a short page cache that rebuilds once instead of once per visitor, and profile pages stopped pulling cached blobs out of the database that nothing on the page needed. A missing database index went in, and the heaviest query on the site got replaced by a single indexed column. Profiles now load in roughly 0.2 seconds. Server side there are proper cache headers, and error logging is finally switched on, which immediately surfaced four warnings worth fixing. Also new: the feed has a System filter, subs and gifted subs share one chip, and badges nobody has collected are out of the listings unless they are still running.

A faster leaderboard and a proper welcome July 29 🔗

Three things at once. The leaderboard loaded nearly 4,000 badge images at once, none of them with a reserved size — so it arrived slowly and jumped while it did. They now load as you scroll and hold their space. Every page also finally sends a cache header, which mostly helps search engines: they were re-fetching everything on every visit. And if a friend invites you with a link like badgebase.de/ref/name, you now actually see who invited you — that box only existed on profile pages, while the link itself sends you to the homepage.

Every claim of a badge July 29 🔗

The collector number on a badge page is now a link. Click it and you get every single claim of that badge — the same activity feed you know from the feed, only narrowed to that one badge, with the same charts and the same rows. What went away for it: the short "latest claims" list that used to sit in the middle of the badge page. Eight names is an odd number — too few to answer who actually has this, too many to pass by. Now it lives where you go looking for it, and it is complete. The QR code on your collection card also changed: it points through /ref/share now, so I can finally see how often anyone scans it.

Times in your own timezone July 28 🔗

Every badge page names a start, an end and a discovery time — and all three used to be written in my clock, Central European. If you collect from São Paulo or Sydney, that meant doing the arithmetic yourself, and a badge that opens at 00:30 here is still the day before over there. The times now show in your timezone, with the matching abbreviation next to them. Nothing was moved: the pages are cached as finished HTML, so the server cannot know where you are — your browser does the conversion, from the timezone the page has been carrying in its markup all along. If you sit on Central European time, you will see no difference at all. And the original stays one hover away.

Animated cards as GIF July 28 🔗

If you wear a 7TV paint, your collection card now comes as an animated GIF too — next to the PNG button on your profile. The name inside wears your paint: an animated one runs its colours through the letters, a static one simply paints them. Your equipped 7TV cosmetic moves along. None of it is recreated — 7TV serves paints and cosmetics as moving images itself, and those are what run here. A second card lives in settings for your Hype Train emotes, with the count and every emote, highest levels first — and there every single emote moves. That takes a few seconds, and the button says so. On your profile the name now wears the paint live as well, with nothing to load. Also new in the header: your follower count next to the join date, and the social icons finally show on a phone too.

A Kick leaderboard July 28 🔗

There is now a Kick leaderboard. It counts the Kick badges you picked in settings, and it shows them too: next to every name are the badges themselves, not just how many. One thing the page says out loud, because it has to be true: these numbers come from the people themselves. Kick allows no request from a server, so there is nothing to verify against. On a profile the rank now sits next to “12 Other Badges” and leads there. The catalogue now covers levels 1 to 50 with no gap, and levels count as a full badge again: 🥊 Kick Collector needs three, levels included. On a phone the level row folds up, because fifty tiles were half a screen of scrolling.

Kick levels, a referrer log and one last question July 28 🔗

The Kick levels are back and got their own row in the login area: badges are something you collect and can have many of, a level is something you have exactly one of, so it now sits apart as a single choice. The catalogue runs from level 1 to 44. Kick tiles on a profile now carry Kick's own green as their border, so you can tell what comes from where in a row that mixes five sources. The heading is plainly "12 Other Badges" again with one number over everything, because only 16 of 8,289 accounts hold a Kick badge at all and "0 Kick Badges" would have greeted almost everyone. New behind the scenes: badgebase.de now records where a visit came from — search engine, social or link — which until now only Google Analytics knew. Only the host is stored, no identifier, and only when the visit really comes from outside. And if you are on a desktop, here for the first time and about to leave, one window asks whether you want to hear about new badges. Once per browser, never on profile pages.

An Achievement Leaderboard July 28 🔗

Your profile now says how many achievements you have, with your rank next to it: 42 Achievements · Rank #3. The rank links to the new achievement leaderboard, which counts all 50 of them and shares a place when two people are level. My own accounts are deliberately not on it, so the top is actual collectors. Two new achievements come with it: 🎯 Achievement Hunter for a place in the top 100 and 🔑 API Developer, which needs an API key that has actually been used rather than merely created. Also new: the reminder box on upcoming badges lost its ticking countdown, since the exact window sits two lines above it anyway, and gained the optional Twitch name the signup page has always had. And it no longer hides itself from people who happen to share a browser with a subscriber.

Invite a Friend, and a Rank Worth Chasing July 27 🔗

Every connected account has an invite link in Settings now: badgebase.de/ref/yourname, or the personal form /u/yourfriend/ref/yourname that lands on your friend's own profile instead of yours. Anyone connecting for the first time through it counts for you, and Settings shows the clicks, the signups and the friends themselves with their avatars. Three rules keep it honest: only a first-ever login counts, you cannot refer yourself, and once somebody is credited to you they stay yours. New with it: 🤝 Tell-A-Friend, 🥇 Top 100 7TV for a place in the top hundred of the 7TV leaderboard, and 🥊 Kick Collector for any Kick badge at all. The API also has an OpenAPI spec, so Postman or a client generator can read it without being told anything twice.

Two Achievements for Streamers July 27 🔗

Two new achievements right after Streamer: 100 Streams and 1000 Streams, both showing your actual count. Settings also tells you how many streams you have done, in the last 365 days and as far back as the records go. Twitch cannot answer this, so the number is looked up once and then kept for a week, which means the achievement appears after your first visit to Settings rather than instantly.

Kick Badges: Yours to Pick, and Up Front July 27 🔗

Save your Kick name in Settings and a grid appears below it with every Kick badge I have on file. Tick the ones you wear and they land on your profile. Green ring for owned, greyed out for the rest, the same language the emote grid speaks. Levels are a single choice rather than a row of checkboxes, because you are on exactly one. Unticking works too, which is what makes it a setting instead of a claim form. On the profile the row is now called Kick & Other Badges and sits above 7TV, led by Kick: Verified first, then newest, levels last. The tiles no longer link to a Kick channel, since the icon next to the name already goes there once. Your own profile carries an Edit link straight to the picker.

A Nudge Off the Favorite Star July 27 🔗

Browsers still running on the old ⭐ favorite now get a one-off bar suggesting they connect their Twitch account instead. It is a suggestion, not a deadline: your streak lives on the profile itself and keeps counting either way. 180 of the 309 favorited profiles seen in the last 30 days belong to accounts that never connected, so there is a real audience for it. One click dismisses it for good. Also fixed: Kick turns underscores into hyphens in its channel URLs, so the link for an account like soba_me_la pointed at a page that does not exist. Every Kick link is now built in one place that knows this.

The Login Leaves Beta July 26 🔗

The BETA banner is gone from Settings. Connecting your Twitch account reads your Hype Train emotes, shows you which ones the set in rotation is still missing from your collection — green for owned, red for a gap — and links you straight to a channel with a train running. Your own place on the Hype Train leaderboard sits next to it. Ideas still very welcome in Discord, the banner asking for them just does not need to be the first thing on the page any more.

An API for Your Collection July 26 🔗

New Developers section in Settings: create your own key and read the archive as JSON. Five endpoints, among them which badges somebody owns and which ones they are still missing — the second one lists only what you can actually still claim, so it reads as a to-do list. Every badge carries its badgebase.de link, and 60 calls a minute is plenty for keeping something in sync.

Take Yourself Off the Boards July 26 🔗

New switch in Settings: keep my profile unlisted. It takes you out of every leaderboard, the search, the activity feed and the sitemap, and asks search engines to leave the page alone. Your profile itself keeps working, so anyone you hand the link to still sees your collection. Emotes now show on profiles by default, the Hype Train row in Settings marks the levels you have not reached yet in red the same way your profile does, and a Read again button re-reads your emotes from Twitch whenever you want. That read is also more stubborn now: it retries every page instead of stopping at the first hiccup, so a half-finished read no longer looks like a finished one.

The Sub Goal Says What Twitch Says July 26 🔗

The supporters page and the stream overlay both count active subscriptions now, straight from Twitch, so the number matches the goal widget on the channel instead of drifting above it as older subs lapse.

The Blog Speaks Your Language July 26 🔗

Open a blog post with a language picked and you land in that language, whatever link you followed. The blog index already worked that way; the articles do now too. Search engines keep seeing the English original, so nothing shifts underneath them.

The Month, Written Up July 26 🔗

July brought 80 of the 106 changelog entries this site has ever had, so I wrote the whole month up properly: BadgeBase in July 2026, in German and English, including the three things I took back out again. The July badge roundup also grew to 32 badges in all five languages: La Velada VI, Spider-Man and Budz joined at the end of the month. And the supporters page gave its top three gifters a real podium again.

The Star Steps Aside July 26 🔗

The ⭐ favourite button is gone from profiles. Connecting your Twitch account at Login sets your favourite for you, from an account Twitch vouched for, which beats a star someone clicked by mistake. Nothing you already set has changed: your streak, the corner shortcut, the pre-filled forms and your personal feed all keep working exactly as before. If you are starting fresh, the login is the way in now. Tell me in Discord how that lands.

Your Own Activity Feed July 26 🔗

The feed gained an ⭐ chip that narrows every claim, sub, gift and follow down to one person, and the word Collected in a profile heading links straight to it. The 🔔 bell moved to the top right where people look for it, announces the day your streak is secured, and now shares what you have read across your devices, so clearing it on your phone clears it on your desktop.

Hype Train Leaderboard July 26 🔗

New board: who owns the most Hype Train emotes. Each row shows the highest train that person rode, and your profile shows the same count with your rank next to it. The board only knows people who connected their Twitch account, so it grows as more of you do.

Achievements Show Their Numbers July 26 🔗

Heart Lover, Event Hopper and Hattrick print the actual count instead of just the threshold, and Hattrick names your biggest day rather than your latest. Early Adopter shows your real join position. Two new ones read from the Twitch login: 🚂 Hype Conductor for riding a train past level 50, wearing the very emote you earned, and 🛡️ Moderator for modding at least three channels. Heart Lover is back, 🏅 Raffle Champ joins Raffle Master for anyone who actually won, and High Five retired. Two slots sit marked TBD: got an idea? Tell me in Discord.

Connect Your Twitch Account July 26 🔗

A new login lets you connect your Twitch account to BadgeBase. Still BETA, so tell me in Discord what it should do next. Connecting reads your Hype Train and reward emotes once and keeps them, so the collection grows with every check instead of showing whatever a single moment returned. Switch them on and they appear on your profile, along with the channels you moderate. Badge Alert signup arrives pre-filled, the account you logged in with becomes your favourite, and your streak counts without needing the star.

Kick, Under Another Name July 26 🔗

Plenty of collectors stream on Kick under a handle that isn't their Twitch name. Their profile header now carries the green Kick icon anyway, pointing at the right channel.

Live Where It Counts July 25 🔗

On a creator's profile, the corner widget now embeds their own live stream when they are on air, instead of the house stream. Badge pages keep pointing you to a streamer live in that badge's category so you can watch and earn it. And the supporters page grew its VIP circle to the Top 30 gifters, lined up a tidy 10 per row on desktop.

Win a Turbo &amp; Faster Follow Badges July 24 🔗

The homepage gains a glowing 🎁 Win Turbo button — jump straight into the Turbo giveaway. And the BadgeBase Follow and Wuestenigel Follow achievements now light up much faster: both channels' followers are synced hourly, so a new follow lands within the hour instead of waiting up to a day. New followers are still celebrated in Discord, now bundled into one tidy post.

Emote Area Retired July 24 🔗

BadgeBase focuses on badges: the emote explorer and every /e/… emote page have been retired and now return a clean 404, dropped from the sitemap along with their Discord alerts. Nothing else changed — the whole badge archive, profiles and achievements stay exactly as they were.

Five New Achievements July 23 🔗

The board grows to a round 40: 💣 Gift Bomber (5+ gifted subs) and 🌊 Sub Tsunami (50+) join Gifter, ⏰ Nick of Time honors claiming a badge in its final 60 minutes (awarded retroactively!), 📆 Series marks collecting on 3 different days, 🥳 Anniversary celebrates a full year on BadgeBase (retiring Veteran — same honor, nicer name), and 🔥 365 Day Streak crowns the flame set.

Drop Alerts, Right on the Badge July 23 🔗

Paid badges that haven't started yet now carry a signup box with a live countdown — leave your email and get a note the moment the drop goes live (Double opt-in, one-line consent, no checkbox hurdles). The dead claim button disappears before launch on every badge and only shows while a badge is actually claimable. Already on the list? The site notices and stops pitching you.

Descriptions in Your Language July 23 🔗

The official Twitch description on every badge page — and in the RSS feeds — now reads natively in German, Spanish, French and Russian: all 317 badges translated, old encoding glitches (Pokémon, La Velada del Año) fixed along the way.

The Bell Got Personal July 23 🔗

The 🔔 now warns ⏳ 6 hours before a badge ends — same heads-up the Discord gets — with the time remaining ticking down. And with a ⭐ favorite set, it turns personal: a 💜 thank-you when your donation, sub or gift arrives, and a 🏆 ping when you unlock a new achievement.

Supporter Badges for Everyone July 23 🔗

Everyone who has ever subscribed to or gifted in badgebase_de's chat now wears BadgeBase Viewer and BadgeBase Sub in their profile's Other Badges row — automatically, future supporters included.

Early Adopter, Counted Right July 23 🔗

The 🚀 Early Adopter achievement used to trust the raw database id, which skips huge ranges — only 636 people ever qualified as "first 10,000". It now counts your real join position, so everyone who actually was among the first ten thousand finally gets it. The share button is also back on mobile profiles, and the sub goal climbs in steps of 10 again.

July Roundup, Refreshed July 22 🔗

The July badge roundup grew to 29 badges — Hotline, Meccha Chameleon, SAND, the FFXIV Fan Fest EU pair and the six EWC co-streamer badges joined, TwitchCon San Diego flipped to started. Updated posts now resurface honestly: original publish date stays, a green Updated stamp and fresh schema dates do the lifting. Rarest tightened to a top 21.

Ping! Notifications, On-Site July 22 🔗

A little 🔔 now lives in the bottom-left corner: it counts what happened since your last visit — badges discovered and badges gone live — and jumps you straight to them. Mark everything read or mute it entirely; your choice sticks in your browser.

Badges by RSS July 22 🔗

New badges, straight into your feed reader: badgebase.de/feed.xml carries every fresh discovery with its official description, dates, free/paid tag and artwork — in five languages via /de/feed.xml & co. And 🔔 Badge Alert moved from the footer to a big glowing button on the homepage, with the signup page now listing every other channel too.

One Language, One World July 22 🔗

The blog joined the site-wide language scheme (/de/blog/… instead of /blog/de/…, old links redirect), page titles now speak all five languages, and on /de/, /es/, /fr/ and /ru/ pages every internal link keeps you inside your language — profiles link German badge pages, cross-links stay German, everything.

Sort the Archive July 22 🔗

The full archive gained two sort chips — 🕰️ Oldest and 🔥 Popular — that combine freely with the price filters and survive switching them. The homepage itself now orders by badge reality: freshest live badges on top, upcoming below with the soonest launch first.

Every Badge Has a Story Now July 22 🔗

Each of the 300+ badge pages now carries an About This Badge section in all five languages: how it was earned, when it ran, free or paid, how many collectors hold it, and where its design comes from. Written from the archive data badge by badge, from Mod Founder to Raging Wolf Helm.

FAQ July 21 🔗

New FAQ page answering the most common questions — what BadgeBase is, how badges are earned, free vs. paid, streaks, Badge Alert and profiles — in German and English, linked from the footer.

Every Language, Its Own URL July 21 🔗

The homepage and every badge page now live on pretty language URLs — /de/, /es/, /fr/ and /ru/ — with full hreflang wiring and every variant listed in the sitemap. English keeps the classic bare URLs.

Smarter Badge Cross-Links July 21 🔗

Badge pages now suggest what actually fits: event badges (TwitchCon & co.) show Similar Badges from the same family, everything else shows what's live right now — free badges lean free, paid lean paid, the soonest to expire first. The pages also got leaner: fewer, stronger links.

Badges From Kick, Too July 21 🔗

Profiles now fold in Kick badges alongside the 7TV and third-party ones, and the 7TV badge you actually wear in chat is marked with a green ✓. The subscriber perks link through to the streaks board and your profile.

Badges From Everywhere July 20 🔗

Profiles now show your chat badges from other services too — FrankerFaceZ, BetterTTV, Chatterino, DankChat, FFZ:AP and tduva — right below your 7TV badges, at the largest size each provider offers.

Badge Alert July 20 🔗

Every profile now carries 🔔 Badge Alert — drop in your email and get a short note whenever a new global Twitch badge goes live. Double opt-in, unsubscribe in every mail, and there is a signup page too. Two new achievements came with it: 📣 for joining and 📸 Card Sharer for downloading your badge card.

Older Than You Think July 20 🔗

Two achievements for the long-timers: 🎂 Twitch 5 Years and 🏛️ Twitch 10 Years, based on when your Twitch account was actually created. Heart Lover is back as well.

Gifts on Your Profile July 20 🔗

Gifted a sub? Your profile now shows a 🎁 count next to your streak, and a new Gifter achievement sits beside Donator — both linking to the subscribers page. 7TV Addict moved into the old 3-day-streak slot.

Everyone Has a Rank July 20 🔗

Profile ranks used to stop at #1000, which meant roughly nine in ten collectors saw no rank at all — and no sign that one existed. The board now goes down to #10,000, so you can see where you stand and what it takes to climb.

Recover Your Streak July 20 🔗

Broke a run? Your profile now offers 💎 Recover Streak — subscribe and your all-time best comes straight back, with the flames to match. Offered from a personal best of 3 days up, and subscribers never break a streak in the first place. The streaks board also stopped listing runs that had already ended — a broken streak kept its rank for days.

Badge Filters July 19 🔗

The archive now filters by Status (Aktiv / Bald), Preis (💰 Bezahlt / 🆓 Kostenlos) and — once you've favorited a profile — Sammlung (✅ Gesammelt / ❌ Fehlt). Everything combines, filters instantly without a reload, keeps a live count and offers a ✕ reset as soon as a filter is active. Paid badges now carry a unified paid tag (subs and TwitchCon alike), which the calendar lists in every event, and badge cards show a blue Bald tag for upcoming drops or a green Gesammelt / red Fehlt marker for your favorite.

Tidier & Translated July 19 🔗

Search now tucks away behind a 🔍 in the nav instead of crowding the button row. All 30 profile achievement tooltips are now properly translated into all five languages — previously the cached achievements could serve one language's text to everyone. Rarest lists 50 badges, and Rarest and the timeline — which now defaults to ending soon — traded their button rows for a single back link. Badge pages also lost the clutter around supporter hearts.

More Achievements July 19 🔗

Six fresh profile achievements: 10- and 100-day streak flames 🔥 (earned once you ever hit them on the streaks board), BadgeBase Sub 💎 for anyone who has ever subscribed, plus Free Spirit 🆓 for 50+ free badges and Veteran 🪖 for a year on BadgeBase.

Your Own Badge Calendar July 19 🔗

The badge calendar now goes personal: add your username and the feed shows only the badges you're still missing — with 🆓 / 💰 markers, a purple BadgeBase colour and a calendar named BadgeBase.de Calendar for @you. Use it once and the new Badge Calendar 🗓️ achievement unlocks on your profile for life.

Activity, Tidier July 19 🔗

The activity feed got a cleanup: gift bombs collapse into one row per gifter (“+N” instead of a wall of “gifted a sub” lines), the list shows a tidy 50 at a time, and the type filters gained All / None buttons plus a much deeper loaded history — so switching to Subs, Gifts or Follows always has something to show.

Daily Streaks July 19 🔗

New: check-in streaks 🔥 — mark your profile as a favorite ⭐ and visit it every day (a new day starts at 2 AM CET) to build a streak. It shows as a flame next to your rank and climbs the streaks board. Subscribers get streak protection: missed days pause the streak instead of resetting it.

Extension Reach July 19 🔗

The extension now counts active users over a 7-day window (up from 3) — a truer picture of the active community, reflected in the live count, the usage graph and the profile badge.

Subscribers & Gifters July 19 🔗

The subscribers page now leads with a Top 50 Gifters board — ranked by lifetime gifted subs, with 👑 🥈 🥉 marking the biggest three — followed by the latest subs and a live Sub Goal 🎯.

Activity, Your Way July 19 🔗

The activity feed now folds in subs 💜 and gifted subs 🎁 alongside badge claims, follows, extension installs, donations and new-badge discoveries — with a row of filter chips to show just the kind of activity you care about.

Your Equipped Badge July 19 🔗

Profiles now show the badge you have equipped on Twitch right next to your name — linked straight to that badge — so visitors see your pick at a glance.

Ending-Soon Alerts July 19 🔗

Badges about to expire now fire an alert in the Discord badge channel the moment they drop under six hours left — never miss a last-chance claim. Keep an eye on the ending-soon timeline.

A Personal Story July 18 🔗

A new personal post: why I collect badges everywhere — from POAP and Garmin to three different chess collections — what it means to me, and why digital badges never clutter the shelf.

Live Subs & Sub Goal July 18 🔗

The badgebase_de stream overlay now celebrates the newest subscriber right in the header — or the gifter 🎁 when it was a gifted sub — next to a live Sub Goal (🎯) that ticks up the instant a new sub lands.

Newest First July 18 🔗

The timeline now defaults to newest first, with a clear toggle to switch between Newest and Ending soon.

Blog RSS Feed July 18 🔗

The blog now ships a proper RSS feed — one per language — so you can follow new posts in any reader, with autodiscovery built into every blog page.

Rarest Badges Link July 18 🔗

The who missed this badge pages now link straight to the rarest badges ranking, and lost the chatty footnotes to keep the focus on the list.

Live on Stream July 17 🔗

Badge claims now flash up as live cards on the badgebase_de stream overlay the moment they land — grab a live badge, open your profile, and watch your name pop on the timeline within seconds.

Twitch Turbo Giveaway July 17 🔗

We're giving away Twitch Turbo! Read how to win it for free — a new post now live in all five blog languages — and enter with one click. Anyone who doesn't currently hold the Turbo badge sees the giveaway on their profile, and Turbo shows up as a claimable badge again for past owners.

Amazon Game Links July 17 🔗

Opt-in per-badge Amazon deep-links: German visitors get an orange "Game bei Amazon" button on badges that have one, and the Prime Gaming badge now shows a Prime testen CTA — all routed through tracked /to/ short links.

Timeline, Both Ends July 16 🔗

The timeline now closes the loop: a Recently Ended strip lists the last 10 badges that expired — you see the tail of each run-out, not its whole history — and the grey bars finally say ENDED. At the other end, a badge dropping within 24 hours now pulses blue, the mirror of the red pulse that already warned you one was about to vanish.

The Blog, Front and Centre July 16 🔗

The blog gets a button in the homepage nav and its latest articles now sit above the footer with their cover art — the same strip that was already on profiles. Badge pages also stop showing Latest Claims once a badge has ended: a frozen list of claims nobody can repeat isn't news.

Under Review, Off the Board July 16 🔗

Profiles flagged 🚩 Under Review for suspicious badge activity no longer appear in any leaderboard — global, Free, 7TV or year — and carry no rank on their profile either. They're out of everyone else's rank maths too, so the standings stay gapless and honest. The profiles themselves stay reachable by direct link.

Streamer Hub Polish July 16 🔗

The Streamer Hub puts supporters first and finally renders animated 7TV profile pictures like the rest of the site.

Extension Usage Graph July 15 🔗

The Twitch extension page now charts its active-user history — a live graph tracking daily usage all the way back to launch on March 1.

Badge Discovery Date July 15 🔗

Every badge page now shows a Discovered date — when BadgeBase first tracked the badge — right beside its start and end dates, in all five languages.

Supporters in Latest Claims July 15 🔗

The Latest Claims feed on badge pages now highlights supporters just like Top Collectors — a pink ring, a 💗 and a Supporter chip so donors stand out.

Under Review Flag July 14 🔗

Profiles flagged for suspicious badge activity now carry a red 🚩 Under Review marker — on the profile header and next to their name across every leaderboard. Keeps the rankings honest.

Five Languages July 14 🔗

BadgeBase now speaks English, Deutsch, Русский, Español and Français — pick yours from the new flag dropdown in the footer. Every page and blog article is fully translated, with proper hreflang cross-linking for search engines.

Rich Link Previews July 14 🔗

Every BadgeBase link now ships a proper og:image — paste a homepage, profile or badge link into Discord, X, WhatsApp & co and it unfurls into a slick branded 1200×630 preview card instead of a bare URL.

Featured Supporter Streams July 14 🔗

The Streamer Hub now spotlights supporters who are live right now with autoplaying player embeds at the top — up to six at once, big and front-and-center.

Donor Shoutouts July 14 🔗

When you donate and your Twitch handle can be matched, BadgeBase now says thank you automatically — an embed in the Discord badge channel and a live shoutout in chat on wuestenigel and badgebase_de.

Blog Categories July 14 🔗

Blog articles are now sorted into categories like Badges and Twitch Updates — filter the blog straight to the topic you want.

Twitch Auto Clips July 14 🔗

Missing Badge Marker July 13 🔗

Star any profile as your favorite via the ☆ button on /u/<name>/ and the homepage archive lights up every badge they haven't collected yet with a thick red border and a small red Fehlt / Missing chip under the date. Instantly see what's still needed to complete a friend's set.

Supporter Badge July 12 🔗

Everyone who donated now carries a small pink 💗 Supporter chip next to their name — both on their profile header (linked to /donate/) and inline on the global leaderboard so you can spot the folks who helped keep BadgeBase running.

Affiliate Redirects July 11 🔗

Amazon and Twitch-Guthaben CTAs now route through a /to/ short-link service that tracks every click by slug, badge, referrer and traffic source. On sub badges (DE), the Twitch-Guthaben affiliate moved from a big CTA to an orange tag chip beside the badge tags — the new tracking surface lets me see which badges actually drive clicks.

Full-Site Localization July 11 🔗

Homepage, badge detail, profile, timeline, donate and streamer pages now render in Deutsch or English based on your footer language toggle. Profiles pick up a German bio automatically when set. The XML sitemap announces both language versions of every blog article with proper hreflang alternates.

Legal Pages July 11 🔗

Self-hosted Impressum (§ 5 DDG) and full GDPR-compliant Datenschutzerklärung — bilingual, covering every third-party service (Google, Twitch, PayPal, Billomat, Cloudinary, 7TV, Discord, All-Inkl).

Bilingual Blog July 11 🔗

The blog is now bilingual — every article ships in Deutsch and English with proper hreflang tags and a language switcher in the header. The first post: every new Twitch badge for July 2026.
