How to get the nopixel V Launch Twitch Badge
nopixel V Launch is a Twitch chat badge that only comes with a subscription. How do you get it? Subscribe to a channel that is streaming in the Grand Theft Auto V category between 8 and 30 September 2026. Gift subs, Prime subs and paid subs all count, the only thing that matters is the category at the moment you subscribe.
The occasion is the relaunch of nopixel V, the best known roleplay server for GTA V. Twitch is running GTA RP Week alongside it, a three week celebration set in Los Santos. The server returns with a refreshed game world, new locations and new lore, familiar faces reprising fan favourite characters and newcomers starting their own stories. Watching alone will not earn you this badge. Viewers collect the Drops, not the badge. Both rewards run in the same window but sit behind different conditions. Drops are earned through watch time on a channel playing inside the server: one hour gives GTA $250,000, two hours another GTA $250,000, four hours GTA $1,000,000 and six hours the Burger Shot Tracksuit. Altogether that is up to GTA $1,500,000 for your own online character. Participating channels carry the logo in their name during the event, which is how you spot them.
There is more to pick up in the same window. Three new global emotes arrive: LangBuddha and TrooperSoze were designed by nopixel founder koil, joined by EarnedIt. Monetizing streamers get limited time Cheermotes automatically once they go live in the GTA V category, with no opt in required. Several long time roleplayers have also uploaded their own channel level badges that exist nowhere else. And the nopixel Extension lets you hop between live streams through clickable hotspots, with a fresh collectible card dropping every day.
The window is a firm one: 8 to 30 September 2026. After that the badge stays visible on your profile but is no longer handed out. If you already follow a GTA roleplay channel, a single subscription is all it takes.
